How can a christian be aborted or loose out on salvation? The Apostle Paul stated in 1 Cor. 9:27, But I discipline my body and keep it under control, lest after preaching to others I myself should be disqualified. {1 Tim.4:1,} Now the Holy Spirit tells us clearly that in the last times some will turn away from the true faith; they will follow deceptive spirits and teachings that come from demons. {1 Tim5:15,} For I am afraid that some of them have already gone astray and now follow Satan. {1 Tim 1:19-20,} Holding faith, and a good conscience; which some having put away concerning faith have made shipwreck: Of whom is Hymenaeus and Alexander; whom I have delivered unto Satan, that they may learn not to blaspheme. {2 Tim.1:15,} You are aware that all who are in Asia turned away from me, among whom are Phygelus and Hermogenes {2 Tim.4:10,} for Demas, because he loved this world, has deserted me and has gone to Thessalonica. Crescens has gone to Galatia, and Titus to Dalmatia...And in {2 Peter 2:21,} It would be better if they had never known the way to righteousness than to know it and then reject the command they were given to live a holy life. {Ezek.18:24,} But when the righteous turneth away from his righteousness, and committeth iniquity, and doeth according to all the abominations that the wicked man doeth, shall he live? All his righteousness that he hath done shall not be mentioned: in his trespass that he hath trespassed, and in his sin that he hath sinned, in them shall he die. But how to prevent being aborted? {Col.3:5-10,} Put to death, therefore, whatever belongs to your earthly nature: sexual immorality, impurity, lust, evil desires and greed, which is idolatry. {6} Because of these, the wrath of God is coming. {7} You used to walk in these ways, in the life you once lived. {8} But now you must rid yourselves of all such things as these: anger, rage, malice, slander, and filthy language from your lips. {9} Do not lie to each other, since you have taken off your old self with its practices {10} and have put on the new self, which is being renewed in knowledge in the image of its Creator. {Philippians 2:12-16,}"Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling; for it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure. Do all things without complaining and disputing, that you may become blameless and harmless, children of God without fault in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world, holding fast the word of life, so that I may rejoice in the day of Christ that I have not run in vain or labored in vain." If we want to be saved from our sins, there are things that we must do in order to receive the free gift of salvation. We must individually continue to work out our salvation, as the apostle Paul instructs. This obviously is going to require obedience. The Hebrew writer said of Christ that, ".having been perfected, He became the author of eternal salvation to all who obey Him."" (Hebrews 5:9;} Post Reply

Can you be unwashed? 2. Can you be un justified? 3. Can you be un sanctified? 4. Can you be un redeemed? A True Believer Jesus keeps the believer its obvious some people think they are Saved because of works o rsome experience there is only one way to be saved thats solely through the death the burial the reserection of Jesus Christ He keeps the believer key word believer Post Reply
