We read in Rev.20:10,And the devil who decieved them was thrown into the lake of burning sulfur,where the beast and false prophet had been thrown.They will be tormented forever,What does tormented forever mean? before we read something into this that is not there lets check other scriptures that deal with this subject! Ezek 28:11-19, 11 Moreover, the word of the LORD came to me: 12 "Son of man,raise a lamentation over the king of Tyre, and say to him, Thus says the Lord GOD: {Does the king Of Tyre mean a man?} "You were the signet of perfection,full of wisdom and perfect in beauty. 13 You were in Eden, the garden of God; every precious stone was your covering, sardius, topaz, and diamond,beryl, onyx, and jasper,sapphire, emerald, and carbuncle; and crafted in gold were your settings and your engravings.On the day that you were created they were prepared. 14 You were an anointed guardian cherub.God would never say this about any man! I placed you; you were on the holy mountain of God; in the midst of the stones of fire you walked.15 You were blameless in your ways from the day you were created, till unrighteousness was found in you. 16 In the abundance of your trade you were filled with violence in your midst, and you sinned; {Sin is transgression of Gods Law} 1 John 3:4, {Why do people say the ten commandments were given first at Mt Sini}? so I cast you as a profane thing from the mountain of God, and I destroyed you, O guardian cherub, from the midst of the stones of fire.17 Your heart was proud because of your beauty; you corrupted your wisdom for the sake of your splendor.I cast you to the ground; I exposed you before kings, to feast their eyes on you.18 By the multitude of your iniquities, in the unrighteousness of your trade you profaned your sanctuaries; so I brought fire out from your midst; it consumed you,and I turned you to ashes on the earth in the sight of all who saw you.19 All who know you among the peoples are appalled at you; you have come to a dreadful end and shall be no more forever." DontHitThatMark View Profile History	What will happen to Satan? Posted : 17 Jul, 2010 11:16 AM That's what I believe. Satan will be burned to ashes and be "no more" just like every other sinner. He will be thrown in first, and His punishment will be greater, but He will cease to exist. Sin, Satan, and sinners are not going to live forever in some far corner of some mystical realm. God is everywhere, and sin will be destroyed from His presence. :peace::peace: Post Reply

Matthew 25:41 ...�Depart from Me, you cursed, into the everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels: Matthew 25:46 And these will go away into everlasting punishment... John3:16 ...whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. John 3:36 He who believes in the Son has everlasting life... Matthew 25:46 And these will go away into everlasting punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.� Mark 3:29 but is subject to eternal condemnation. There are plenty more but I think you get the point. Seems that both the sinner and the righteous will endure the same amount of time. If one is made no more at a point in time looks the other will no longer exist either at that time. A god that just snuffs the wicked out is not a loving god I would want to worship. Revelation 20:10 The devil, who deceived them, was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone where the beast and the false prophet are. And they will be tormented day and night forever and ever. You are right God's presents is everywhere, even in hell where He is punishing sinners and revenging the saints tormenting the devil day and night forever and ever. Posted : 18 Jul, 2010 06:46 AM Let me ask you something; Since God is love, 1 John 4:8 Does it seem logical that God would get pleasure out of the screams of the wicked in excrusating pain for all eternity? Would not God out of mercy just allow them to burn up instantly and be out of their misery to never live again? Post Reply

Now you are making a god based on the way you feel and not what scriptures say. Besides who's definition of love are you talking about? Yours or God's? He came to show us what God was like. I think the bible is very clear about what happens to the wicked, and I think there are a lot more verses to support my view that God destroys the wicked. And it's just simple logic. God will destroy sin. If they're all alive, looking into heaven, wishing for a drop of water, then they are living forever, and they can still sin against God with their minds. People who are dead do not think or feel, and the wicked will die the second death. They will not exist. And I do believe there will be varying degrees of punishment, because God will judge them according to their works. Anyway...I think the church is full of a huge mess of pagan beliefs. You might want to check into that. In all our "protesting" and "reforming" you'd think someone else would notice. :peace::peace: Post Reply
