Hello everyone:

Most of the Books called the 'Bible promise books',these actually take much Scripture out of context, and twist the

Word in order to make the people feel, and think that they are safe and in control of GOD.

These Scripture along with many other are from an unknown book called,'The Other Promises of GOD'.

This book has not been written,if it were written, maybe the faith of some might be shaken.

Mat 10:16 Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves.

Mat 10:17 But beware of men: for they will deliver you up to the councils, and they will scourge you in their synagogues;

Mat 10:18 And ye shall be brought before governors and

kings for my sake, for a testimony against them and the Gentiles.

Mat 10:19 But when they deliver you up, take no thought how or what ye shall speak: for it shall be given you in that same hour what ye shall speak.

Mat 10:20 For it is not ye that speak, but the Spirit of your Father which speaketh in you.

Mat 10:21 And the brother shall deliver up the brother to death, and the father the child: and the children shall rise up against their parents, and cause them to be put to death.

Mat 10:22 And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved.

Mat 10:23 But when they persecute you in this city, flee ye into another: for verily I say unto you, Ye shall not have gone over the cities of Israel, till the Son of man be come.

Mat 10:24 The disciple is not above his master, nor the servant above his lord.

Mat 10:25 It is enough for the disciple that he be as his master, and the servant as his lord. If they have called the master of the house Beelzebub, how much more shall they call them of his household?

Mat 10:26 Fear them not therefore: for there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; and hid, that shall not be known.

Yeshua Promised that He would be with us/the believers until the end of the World.

He did not promise us Health and Wealth.

Yeshua spoke more about judgement and Hell, than He had spoken about money, finances,

I hope everyone has a Blessed week.

Orientation for me starts tomorrow.

@ trucker, I read the entire thing  and I do agree. I read that all the disciples died horrific deaths, except for Paul I think it was who was saved miraculously from being boiled alive in oil and went on to live peacefully till his death in old age. Not a bed of roses at all!

nyanda:

The apostle John was the one who died in his old age, while banished to the ilse of Patmos( Revelation 1:9 ).

Paul was killed as were the disciples of Yeshua/Jesus.

In many countries around this planet, believers are killed for what they believe.

There have been Muslims turning to trust Yeshua, when they make that annoucement they are confronted with death.

The Jews either shun for life the believing Jew,or they have an open coffin memorial.

It is here where we have been blessed beyond measure, yet this is where the weakest, most fearful christians live.Maybe all of the blessings we have here, have instead turned to be a curse.

Pro 30:7 Two things have I required of thee; deny me them not before I die:

Pro 30:8 Remove far from me vanity and lies: give me neither poverty nor riches; feed me with food convenient for me:

Pro 30:9 Lest I be full, and deny thee, and say, Who is the LORD? or lest I be poor, and steal, and take the name of my God in vain.

To PJ:

PJ,I would encourage you to read up a little on how a Jew and Eatern cultured people believe they are prospered of GOD.

The Jew believes that when they wake up having had a restful night, that they were propsered of the Lord.

If the Shepherds awaken and all of the sheep are there, they were prospered of GOD.

In the Old Covenant, when a woman had a man child she was a Blessing to her husband, and she was Blessed of the Lord

Samuel,and Isaac.

When Israel was not being attacked by their enemies, they were being blessed of GOD..

PJ,please stop reading the Scriptures as an American.

Ask the Lord for the Holy Spirit to show and teach you how to understand His Word.

For His Word is all about Himself, and his dealings with man....

PJ.The Americans mostly think about money and the THINGS in this life.

In other countries, staying alive and eating are more important then things.

Ask the Lord to expand your mind,to be thinking,

understanding and seeing beyond this life .

Maybe then you might begin to understand who Yeshua is,and to experience who and what He is like...

By the way YESHUA or YEHOSHUA is The Lord Jesus name,in the languages and nation He chose to be born into.

Jesus is the Greek name:

Do a study on these names, say as Paul said.

Php 3:7 But what things were gain to me, those I counted loss for Christ.

Php 3:8 Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ,

Php 3:9 And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith:

Php 3:10 That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death;

Also look up the Greek word here "Know" Interesting Word.

PJ,I Agape'/Love you;I want to see you grow in Yeshua

Remember, Christianity is a relationship of Faith; This is not a Western belief, this actually is an Eastern belief.
