Malachi 3:3 says: 'He will sit as a refiner and purifier of silver.'
This verse puzzled some women in a Bible study and they wondered what this statement meant about the character and nature of God ..
One of the women offered to find out the process of refining silver and get back to the group at their next Bible Study.
That week, the woman called a silversmith and made an appointment to watch him at work. She didn't mention anything about the reason for her interest beyond her curiosity about the process of refining Silver.
As she watched the silversmith, he held a piece of silver over the fire and let it heat up. He explained that in refining silver, one needed to hold the silver in the middle of the fire where the flames were hottest as to burn away all the impurities.
The woman thought about God holding us in such a hot spot; then she thought again about the verse that says: ' He sits as a refiner and purifier of silver.'
She asked the silversmith if it was true that he had to sit there in front of the fire the whole time.
The man answered that yes, he not only had to sit there holding the silver, but he had to keep his eyes on the silver the entire time it was in the fire. If the silver was left a moment too long in the flames, it would be destroyed.
The woman was silent for a moment. Then she asked the silversmith, 'How do you know when the silver is fully refined?'
He smiled at her and answered, ' Oh, that's easy -- when I see my image in it.'
Sorry but you missed the moral of the article mainly it was how God deals with His people,Why trials etc,When God allows us to be sorley tested it tends to bring us closer to Him,On our knees and we don't feel so important anymore in other words wehen we are not so important in our own eyes God see's more of Himself in us.

The nitric acid is used by the dealers to check the metals authenticity.
The metal is rubbed on a stone that removes a few particles of the metal,then the nitric acid is applied to the metal.
If the metal turns colors,then the dealer knows the metal might not be genuine.
Most jewelry is mixed metals,10k-12k-14k-18k- and even 22k Gold or silver.
The reasoning behind or mixing different metals with gold is,that pure gold 24 karat is extremely soft and very pliable.
The added metals are for strength,thus the added metals devalue the gold and silver.
Gold,silver even lead,these and other metals need to be heated to the point of being melted in order for the impurities/dross to appear on the surface.
When the impurities are on the suface,the person doing the refining then scoops off the dross so that which is left, is only the purified material.
We are not what is being purified according to the Holy Spirit using Peter to speak with us.

What we believe about the Lord is what is being tried.
This Scripture talks about the Lord sanctifying us through tests and trials.
These tests and trials,reveal what we really believe,the dross is sin and unbelief,what is left,is the revealed genuine faith in the believer.
Sanctification actually is the process of GOD to reveal how much we do not trust Him, and to show us the condition of our lives,so that we would cling to Yeshua Who is Just Holy
,Righteous,and Sanctified on our behalf.
We need someone elses' Righteousness in order to stand before the Holy GOD of Israel.
This someone is Yeshua.
