28"What do you think? There was a man who had two sons. He went to the first and said, 'Son, go and work today in the vineyard.' 29" 'I will not,' he answered, but later he changed his mind and went. 30" Then the father went to the other son and said the same thing. He answered, 'I will, sir,' but he did not go. 31"Which of the two did what his father wanted?" "The first," they answered.

Jesus said to them, "I tell you the truth, the tax collectors and the prostitutes are entering the kingdom of God ahead of you. 32For John came to you to show you the way of righteousness, and you did not believe him, but the tax collectors and the prostitutes did. And even after you saw this, you did not repent and believe him.

/////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////

This is very simple, how many of here we say, Im christian, but really are we acting like real christians? How many of here we are really committed to follow him without excuses? We are really honest with ourselves before committing to one person?

I have lived this... I have told "no" to obey the Word of God and the last minute... I do what my Father wants.. This is my personality personality. I've done wrong, I'm not perfect but I am honest and admit my mistakes, because I wish to act with the true identity of God now..

The point is that we have forgotten the true identity that we were discovered when Jesus saved us from our sins.

We need to learn to live our faith with our true identity in Christ, thats the only way to be loyal to the Lord , and its the only way to follow him and its the only way to be honest with ouselves and be honest with others.. and its the only way to do the correct, its the only way to doesnt have fears and have courage to take difficult situations and its the only to be ready for all in life. for all...

If we have the identity that the Lord made us discover in ourselves, we are ready to enter the Promised Land. And the Promised Land for me.. is to recieve what always we have dreamed.

Thats why ... we need to practice this verse .Take delight in the Lord and he will give you the desires of your heart. Psalm 37:4

But to do this, we must take the new identity that Christ gave us...

Is there someone agree with me?

Hello young Lady;

Joyous to see someone actually reading Gods word about himself,and wrestling with Him.

Read Luke 15:11-32 along with the Matthew passage.

Notice that in both Scripture a certain man had TWO SONS,not one son,TWO SONS.

In Lukes account i call them Law and Grace,or a liberal and a funddie(Fundamentalist).

Notice the certain mans attitude in both accounts.

Also without the Holy Spirit,there can be no such person that is called a child of God.

Without the Holy Spirit,all the Lord says about us is impossible on ones own merits,strength and understanding.

I believe Yeshua gives to us eternal life and everything we need for life and Godliness.

We are not to resist the Holy Spirit,from creating and developing the life,character,attitude, personality of Yeshua within us.

And He creates a servants spirit within each if us.

Agape' and Charis:

George

Yes, it is like wanting to know the will of God and when we learn it we don't want any part of it.

An excellant Pastor once told of how he and his wife wanted to go on the mission field and would go anywhere but India. But the only doors that would open where to be missionaries to India. The one who said that he wouldn't do it, went to India and was a sucessful missionary.

Im not sure if I fully understand the question?? But I hope this helps... the first son did the will of his father...even though his initial response was "he will not" he went any way. The second son said he would yet he didnt. So to break it down if I understand your Question...we all as Christians struggle to do the will of God because truth is by nature we are sinful or disobedient BUT when we become true believers we are led to do the right thing even if our first reaction may not be to do the right thing. Many people call themselves "Christians" but there is no evidence of that...they live,dress,act like everybody else but they THINK they are christians!! Even among many churches this seems to be a new humanistic way of cutting corners or to compromise to get what we want rather than what God wants...this describes the second son in short.. one who lies! more or less he says he is somthing he is not and does what he is not supposed to be doing..which is the will of the father...not the will of the world!! hope this didnt confuse you more
