A very good book on the subject is "The Kingdom,Power & Glory" by Chuck and Nancy Missler. Google: Kings Highway Ministries to find it or check on Amazon. You may not agree with everything you read but it is very thought provoking with lots of good information. Thunder Post Reply

I also believe that there will be a millenum kingdom, based on what the Bible teaches us which also includes what the prophets of old Isaiah and others, have said, and what the book of Revelation reveals to us. I do not believe anyone will be alive on earth except Satan and maybe his angels, but I am not absolutely positive about that...but I also can't find scripture to support that idea that there will be sinners alive on the earth, being ruled by Christ for a 1000 years or whatever the belief is. :peace::peace: Post Reply

And they shall build houses, and inhabit [them]; and they shall plant vineyards, and eat the fruit of them. They shall not build, and another inhabit; they shall not plant, and another eat: for as the days of a tree [are] the days of my people, and mine elect shall long enjoy the work of their hands. They shall not labour in vain, nor bring forth for trouble; for they [are] the seed of the blessed of the LORD, and their offspring with them. Anyway, the only problem I have is that people think the wicked will be alive during the 1000 years. God slays the wicked before that. "And there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of his roots: And the spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD; And shall make him of quick understanding in the fear of the LORD: and he shall not judge after the sight of his eyes, neither reprove after the hearing of his ears: But with righteousness shall he judge the poor, and reprove with equity for the meek of the earth: and he shall smite the earth with the rod of his mouth, and with the breath of his lips shall he slay the wicked. And righteousness shall be the girdle of his loins, and faithfulness the girdle of his reins. The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid; and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a little child shall lead them." So I do believe it may be possible(even though I don't personally believe it) for the righteous to inherit and live on the earth during the millennium(even though I wouldn't want to with all those dead bodies and sinful conditions), but to say that we will rule over a bunch of wicked people is taking it a bit far I think. Anyway...I believe Jesus went to prepare a place for us and that when He comes we will spend the 1000 years in heaven. Then we will all come back in the New Jerusalem and God will recreated the earth after the punishment of the wicked. Then we will rule on the earth with God forever. "For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words." (1 Ths. 4:16-18) John14:1Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. 2In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. 3And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. 4And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know. "I was in the spirit; and, behold, a Throne was set in heaven, and One sat on the Throne ... And before the Throne there was a sea of glass like unto crystal" (Revelation 4:2,6 KJV) "And I saw as it were a sea of glass mingled with fire: and them that had gotten the victory over the beast, and over his image, and over his mark, and over the number of his name, stand on the sea of glass" (Revelation 15:2 KJV) The sea of glass is either in the New Jerusalem or heaven, and the New Jerusalem does not descend from heaven until the second resurrection. :peace::peace: Post Reply

It starts after the end of the tribulation period of 7 years. Those who return to earth with the Lord will reign with him here. There will be death and sin, but not like today. A 100 year old will be young. Egypt is warned that it will not receive rain if they do not make the required trips to Jerusalem. It all ends with Satan getting people to attack Jerusalem. They will be wiped out. Then comes the Great White Throne Judgement. After that comes the New Heaven and New Earth. This is laid out in Revelation and the Old Testament. Post Reply
