I owe everyone here an apology for my behavior here the past couple of weeks. I allowed myself to get angry and make snide remarks to others. There is no excuse for a Christian to behave in this way. I am truly ashamed of myself.
It is no one's fault but my own, and I take full responsibility. I would never act this way in person, but somehow thought it was okay here....well it is not.
I am taking some time off from posting here to try to get myself back on track. I will probably stop by and read what y'all post, but will not participate until I can do so in a loving, gentle way.
Leon, the battle is not won by taking off. The battle is won when you endure. Taking off isn't going to solve anything, but sticking around will accomplish more than you know in slef discipline, becasue you are more aware.
PJ, I wrote you a post, I wasn't apologizing to you about anything. I was letting you know that you should also apologize to everyone for your ugly comments you have made to others.
If The guys were man enough and Christ like enough to apologize to you for their ugly words toward you, you should also apologize to them for your ugly words to them. That's what I'm talking about... plain and simple..
sorry Leon to use your thread, but what a great thread for such a time as this...
I can understand what you are saying. I had to take a break from here for awhile myself. I just recently decided to give it a try again. While I was away from here I found another site that has great forums. I have even seen one of the old regulars from here over there.
If you will allow me to send you an email I would love to share more about the other site. It is not Christian, but there are Christians there and it has been a real a blessing...to me anyway. I have made some very nice friends there. Some of the different groups plan a lot of get-togethers too. Apparently there have been several matches made that way.
There is a ministry aspect to it also because there are people from all sorts of religions who post there. I got that parable I posted on another thread about the blind men and the elephant from that site. I have regular conversations there with atheists, satanists, new-agers, buddhists, etc...you name it. :excited: Some of them are really nice people they are just blind and lost...the very condition I was in when Jesus graciously reached down into the gutter and lifted me out. I can really see that the Holy Spirit has worked through me to impact some of the people there. I love that about it!
Anyway, if you want to know more about it, just let me know. I think you would find it a blessing too. If not, just know that you will be missed here.
PJ, thanks for accepting my apology. I have no excuse. I will try to never lt it happen again.
Ella, my dear sister, I won't be gone too long. You know me, I am like that bad penny, I keep showing up. I just need some alone time with God.
Debbie, thanks for the offer, but I belong to a site of ordained ministers only that is a real blessing to me. It is a wonderful site of over 40,000 fully certified ministers. The sit checks every members ordination before you can join. I was ordained through three different entities and they verified all of them before letting me join. It really is like stepping out of this world into a better place.
What can wash away my sins,NOTHING BUT THE BLOOD OF JESUS.
It is all under the Blood and lifted by Yeshua.
Remember,You are Justified by Yeshua in faith.
The Righteousness,Holiness,Sanctification, and every righteous act and word of Yesua,He imputes to your account,by trusting him.
Remember, you are an adopted Son Of God Most High.
You are the Righteousness of God in Yeshua.
You are a king and priest of God Most High in Yeshua.
You are light and salt in the earth.
You are a new creation in Christ, and an Ambassador of Christ.
A minister of the Gospel,and a Co-heir with Christ.
You are the apple of Yeshuas' eye.
1Jn 1:7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.
1Jn 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
Leon,Not one person on this site,or in this life has been perfect.
There has been only one perfect person to have walked this life,He laid His life down for the Father to forgive us,and everyone is responsible for His death:
Yet He forgives us for we really do not know what we do.
I hope you will be here and encourage everyone unto Love,Faith and Good works.
