parable of the foxesPosted : 29 Jun, 2010 11:49 AMWe are of the same body, but we're not of the same mind right now. I think we can all agree that there is one truth, and that some are not walking in it. Who is it though? Only time/God/the bible can tell. A world-wide unified church is exactly what will be persecuting God's people in the last days. So I'm kinda scared when people want to start joining hands and ignoring the differences. We can be nice humble Christians to each other. No argument there. But I'm not going to sacrifice what I believe to be the truth to fit in better. I don't think anyone here really wants that. If God shows me I am wrong, or I have a conflict of conscience about something I believe, then I will change. Guaranteed. It's happened before. I've even purposely fought with my beliefs to find the truth, and I think everyone should be doing that. Not fighting with other Christians to see who is right, honestly attack yourself and see if your beliefs can stand. Never be satisfied. Keep running, and never count yourself as having obtained the prize until you're dying or you see Jesus in the clouds. |
