Today a read a post here addressing pentecostals. it said that pentecostals believe that you have to be speaking in tongues to be saved and baptized in the Holy Spirit.

I am pentecostal and want to be recorded as saying,

We have to make a confession that Jesus is our messiah and he died for oursins on the cross.

A confession that Jesus died on the cross is the only requirment for salvation friends. Of course I was going to say something.

As a Pentecostal anything else is extra.I became this way in 1986 when I left the Luthern Church.

I do speak in tongues and lay hands on people to pray for them.

I do not believe in every wind of doctrine as some pentecostals do.

I disagree with the claim it- receive it thinking.

God is not a money bank as some imply.

I do not listen to TV evangelist,ok.I stick to my current church for teaching. In the past year I did change pentecostal churches.Now I attend the Nazerene Church.

Hello everyone:

Please read this Word Of God from the mouth of Yeshua/Jesus

John 10:1 `Verily, verily, I say to you, He who is not entering through the door to the fold of the sheep, but is going up from another side, that one is a thief and a robber;

John 10:2 and he who is entering through the door is shepherd of the sheep;

John 10:3 to this one the doorkeeper doth open, and the sheep hear his voice, and his own sheep he doth call by name, and doth lead them forth;

John 10:4 and when his own sheep he may put forth, before them he goeth on, and the sheep follow him, because they have known his voice;

John 10:5 and a stranger they will not follow, but will flee from him, because they have not known the voice of strangers.'

John 10:6 This similitude spake Jesus to them, and they knew not what the things were that he was speaking to them;

John 10:7 Jesus said therefore again to them, `Verily, verily, I say to you--I am the door of the sheep;

John 10:8 all, as many as came before me, are thieves and robbers, but the sheep did not hear them;

John 10:9 I am the door, through me if any one may come in, he shall be saved, and he shall come in, and go out, and find pasture.

John 10:10 `The thief doth not come, except that he may steal, and kill, and destroy; I came that they may have life, and may have it abundantly.

John 10:11 `I am the good shepherd; the good shepherd his life layeth down for the sheep;

John 10:12 and the hireling, and not being a shepherd, whose own the sheep are not, doth behold the wolf coming, and doth leave the sheep, and doth flee; and the wolf catcheth them, and scattereth the sheep;

John 10:13 and the hireling doth flee because he is an hireling, and is not caring for the sheep.

John 10:14 `I am the good shepherd, and I know my sheep , and am known by mine,

John 10:15 according as the Father doth know me, and I know the Father, and my life I lay down for the sheep,

John 10:16 and other sheep I have that are not of this fold, these also it behoveth me to bring, and my voice they will hear, and there shall become one flock--one shepherd.

The Lord opened Dennis's ears,Has he opened yours.

Dennis has heard the call of his Master, and he came as

he was drawn by the Father.

Dennis trusts Yeshua as His Messiah and Lord,as the

Father has given Dennis faith in Yeshua.

I find the Word of God completely true and accurate.

I believe all of the gifts of the Spirit of God to still be active and vital for all of the believers today,

Yes even the Gift of tongues,interpretation and healing---Where are the givers,

why doesn't any one want the gift of giving,or serving.

Until a person actually says with his or her own mouth,that they do not believe Yeshua is the Messiah:

and that the Word of God is not real.And that Jesus is not the only way to the Father.

Until that happens,everyone that names the name of Yeshua/Jesus as Messiah and Lord they are our Brother and Sisters in Yeshua.

The body of believers should be a hospital,to treat the wounded, and hospitable to entertain strangers and htose just passing through.

Instead; what I find on this site, as much as I find within

the body of Christ,is this one simple saying.

CHRISTIANS ARE THE ONLY ONES THAT EITHER SHOT OR KILL THEIR WOUNDED!!!!!

Dennis until I know otherwise you are my brother in Yeshua,and I give to you the right hand of fellowship.

I believe the Lord would have us as Brothers,and Sisters in Yeshua,to be encouraging one another unto Love

,Faith and Good deeds,instead of tearing each other down.

Doesn't the world do that enough to us every day.

Phil,

These two verses indicate that when the perfect has come, what is in part will come to an end. What is meant by, "that which is perfect"? I think it refers to the coming of Christ, which happened in 70AD. When Christ came back he set up a spiritual kingdom here on earth. The perfect has come. Therefore, all those things that were in part has been done away.

Well, I know what many say but of Course that would deny the word of God as true, what we see when we study the scriptures as in referring to Acts ch 2:4 is the receiving of the holy spirit.

The promise was of the father to all flesh

Hello everyone:

1st Corinthians 13:8-12

1Co 13:8 Charity never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away.

1Co 13:9 For we know in part, and we prophesy in part.

1Co 13:10 But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away.

1Co 13:11 When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things.

1Co 13:12 For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.

1Co 13:13 And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity.

Many people refer to 1st Corinthians 13:8-13,and they say SEE; SEE there it says it right there,tongues has ended.

Many say the tongues ended when the Scripture was completed,

Yet these same people do not go one page over to 1st Corinthians 14 The entire chapter.

This chapter is one of the least taught on Scriptures for within this chapter is the function of the Priesthood of believers.

There is not the mention of any worship band,no choir,not even a so-called made up office of the Senior Pastor.

This is the body of Christ directed by the Holy Spirit.

Being attended to by the Holy Spirit through the Body of believers.

I believe that which is perfect in verse 11,has not yet appeared;The reason verse 12.

Verse 12 states,Now I know in part,but then shall I know even as I am known.

The word "then" refers back to:'But when that which is perfect is come'.

If the perfect has come,then why do I not know even as I am known.

Why is my understanding still in part.

In 1st Corin.14:39-40,The Holy Spirit empowers Paul to say to the Corinthians,Covet to Prophesy,and forbid not to speak with tongues.

Everything must be done decently, and in order,according to the revealed word in 1st Corinthians chs. 11-14.

I believe that which is perfect is referring to the New Jerusalem.

Rev 21:1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.

Rev 21:2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.

Rev 21:3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.

Rev 21:4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

Rev 21:5 And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.

Rev 21:6 And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely.

Rev 21:7 He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.

Rev 21:8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

Rev 21:9 And there came unto me one of the seven angels which had the seven vials full of the seven last plagues, and talked with me, saying, Come hither, I will shew thee the bride, the Lamb's wife.

Rev 21:10 And he carried me away in the spirit to a great and high mountain, and shewed me that great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God,

Rev 21:11 Having the glory of God: and her light was like unto a stone most precious, even like a jasper stone, clear as crystal;

Rev 21:12 And had a wall great and high, and had twelve gates, and at the gates twelve angels, and names written thereon, which are the names of the twelve tribes of the children of Israel:

Rev 21:13 On the east three gates; on the north three gates; on the south three gates; and on the west three gates.

Rev 21:14 And the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and in them the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb.

Rev 21:15 And he that talked with me had a golden reed to measure the city, and the gates thereof, and the wall thereof.

Rev 21:16 And the city lieth foursquare, and the length is as large as the breadth: and he measured the city with the reed, twelve thousand furlongs. The length and the breadth and the height of it are equal.

Rev 21:17 And he measured the wall thereof, an hundred and forty and four cubits, according to the measure of a man, that is, of the angel.

Rev 21:18 And the building of the wall of it was of jasper: and the city was pure gold, like unto clear glass.

Rev 21:19 And the foundations of the wall of the city were garnished with all manner of precious stones. The first foundation was jasper; the second, sapphire; the third, a chalcedony; the fourth, an emerald;

Rev 21:20 The fifth, sardonyx; the sixth, sardius; the seventh, chrysolite; the eighth, beryl; the ninth, a topaz; the tenth, a chrysoprasus; the eleventh, a jacinth; the twelfth, an amethyst.

Rev 21:21 And the twelve gates were twelve pearls; every several gate was of one pearl: and the street of the city was pure gold, as it were transparent glass.

Rev 21:22 And I saw no temple therein: for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it.

Rev 21:23 And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof.

Rev 21:24 And the nations of them which are saved shall walk in the light of it: and the kings of the earth do bring their glory and honour into it.

Rev 21:25 And the gates of it shall not be shut at all by day: for there shall be no night there.Rev 21:26 And they shall bring the glory and honour of the nations into it.

Rev 21:27 And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb's book of life.

Until the New Jerusalem,The New Heavens,the New Earth, and we are clothed in our New Glorified bodies;

And everything is made New.

There will be the need for ALL,ALL,ALL the gifts of the Holy Spirit of God.

I too have the Spirit of the Living GOD

ps.Samson:

70 A.D. was the time the Temple was destroyed according to the Prophesied word of Yeshua/The Lord Jesus;Matthew 24:1-5

Mat 24:1 And Jesus went out, and departed from the temple: and his disciples came to him for to shew him the buildings of the temple.

Matt 24:2 And Jesus said unto them, See ye not all these things? verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.

Matt 24:3 And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?

Matt 24:4 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.

Matt 24:5 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.
