Many Christians are AFRAID of offending someone by speaking the truth of the gospel. So they passively fall in LOVE with being silent in order not to offend, and think this is godly.
Many worry about being POLITICAL CORRECT instead of being SPIRITUAL RIGHT according to, and based upon what God teaches, that we are to REPOOF< REBUKE, EXHORT, CORRECT, AND CONVINCE (WHICH MEANS TO FORCE OR COMPELL) with the word of God with long suffering, because many will not submit to SOUND DOCTRINE, and will turn away form the truth and lies of false teachers and false profits...oooppps:ROFL:..., I meant false prohets.
I dread when the end times began to come into its fullness, (if the Lord so wills that I be aorund during this time), because many Christians who THINK they have it all wrapped up in LOVE for their brother will be overcome with false teaching, because they will not have the backbone to take a STAND against those who oppose the truth.
The only unity that is to come is when we ALL come into the SAME UNITY OF FAITH ABOUT THE LORD JESUS CHRIST AND HIS DOCTRINE AS MATURE CHRISTIANS in the spiritual wisdom and knowledge and power of Christ by the Holy Spirit of God.
Jesus topic in Mt 10 is that I should be first in your life if it comes to me or relatives, unity is not to come at the expenses of salvation.
We no his desire is for us to be one, that was his prayer in John 17.

When the truth is told many people can't accept the truth about themselves, because they think more highly of themselves than they ought. Therefore, this will cause division when a person does not receive what God has to say about the condition your condition is in, no matter who the person may be whether family or friend or foe.
This is why so many opposed jesus and the apostles. Even with Paul and Barnabas there was division and a big fight between them, because Paul spoke the truth to Barnabas.
Throughout the Old and New Testament we find divison when the truth is told to a person. Also, when Paul speaks about speaking in love to one another, he is talking about "TOUGH LOVE" same application of discipline God applies to us when we're not in complacenec with His word, or when we correct or chastise out children, or when we wree chastised by our parents. Didn't mean there wasn't love, and as God says, when He chastises us, it means He loves us.
So to have unity and to speak in love doesn't mean there is not a need ofr rebuke, reproof, or corrections, and I have yet to see anyone rebuke,corrected, or reproof in silence or in gentleness with a rebellious or hardhead person. Through thePaul's wrings he chastised the people with harsh words, but they were becasue he loved them. It take love to correct or rebuke or repoof a person. If you didn't love the person you would bother to take the time to rebuke, correct, or repoof a person. This within its self is love and brings unity if the person receiving such is a wise person. At least this is what the acroptures speak.

I am on Yahoo discussion groups and they are set up MUCH better.
I will admit CDFF has the best emoticons of any type of discussion group I have ever seen, but that is about it.
ONE BIG THING, is when you reply to anyone on Yahoo groups, the entire thing they just said is automatically IN the reply box!
That way you can reply to each sentence if you want and you don't have to try and remember what they said!
so, on this group I usually cut and past your words INTO the reply box, so I can do that. But what if someone on here does not know how to cut and paste?
