Having a Deeper Relationship with the Lord.

I have found I am walking on a closer path with the Lord but I have been getting attacked lately. I have been really been thrown some curves. I try to set some time aside one hour out of the day to spend time with the Lord and devote to him.

It just seems that I can't explain it I feel as if there

when I am praying I have reached a plateua. I know the Lord hears me and I have to be persistent in my prayers and that is what I have been doing.

I think I have reached the crossroads and I have to make the turn and don't know where to turn. This is why I am asking the Holy Spirit for guidance. I am just waiting for the response and the wisdom.

Waiting is the hard part but it is the Lords timing not mine. I know that is He maybe teaching me patience and I just have to ride this one out. Whatever this lesson I am supposed to learn.

God Bless,:prayingf:

Hey! I am encouraged by your post. I was curious, though, how you're being attacked? Is it temptation? Just plain misfortune? Or is the attack the "plateau"? I know it's difficult to go through a phase in your relationship with God that feels like it's going nowhere. It's difficult for me, anyways. lol. I've found that, in the past, when I reach these points in my walk with Christ, it's because I wasn't actively seeking a higher ground. I felt like I had it all down. After all, it's easy when you have a book, and feel like you've learned all it has to offer. But, God was teaching me humility. I started noticing new things in scripture that I hadn't noticed before. I felt a stronger calling to do certain things. And while it was frustrating at the time, I am appreciative of it. I hope that you come through this trial with renewed strength, wisdom, and understanding. There is nothing quite like drawing closer to God. I'm looking forward to talking with you in the forums! Peace! :peace:

In Christ
