Path = DestinationPosted : 17 May, 2010 07:51 AMBoy! this stuff Im about to share with you sure hits home! I first want to start off by saying I pray that no one takes offense to it. I pray that it can bless you as the Lord is using it to bless me and help me grow more and more in understanding. |

Path = DestinationPosted : 17 May, 2010 02:43 PMHmm...very good post. I've been going through this quite a bit lately. I'm having some problems in life...money, sin, relationships, serious depression...but I'm starting to realize, like I have with a lot of other things, that it's all my fault/attitude. I keep thinking..."I'm a nice unselfish guy, why isn't God making my life easier??", or "I gave my problems to God...why isn't He taking them away??", or "How can I honestly ask someone to tie their life to mine, when I know exactly how much I have to offer"(not much, at least in my view under the influence of the next thing), or "Here I am, trying so hard to do the right things...so depressed, such a failure, abusing or unsatisfied with what God has given me, so unhappy with myself...and then there are "those" people, not even trying. So horrible in the way they treat people, so arrogant with nothing to back it up...so...so...selfish, yet so happy". |

Path = DestinationPosted : 17 May, 2010 04:16 PMMark it is about thy word is truth, and in the word of God we find we have an enemy to all that is good we have to learn of his devices and ways because by faith we overcome him His name is Satan. |

Path = DestinationPosted : 17 May, 2010 05:11 PMcowboy you sure are right. path = destination, if it is written "This Day has salvation come to this house" + "Proverbs 27:1 Boast not thyself of to morrow..." thus we can conclude that each step is possibly a final destination and the journey = the path. |

Path = DestinationPosted : 30 May, 2010 04:03 PMDavid, you are so right! Good intentions don't make for good results. I have acted with the best of intentions and have ended up with disasterous results. When this happens in relationships, someone always gets badly hurt. I have taken these past 6 years since my divorce to step back from dating and serious relationships to examine my motives and my needs and to really pray and as God for guidance in my life. The answers He gave me have taken me WAY out of my comfort zone at times but I have grown closer to Him and He has never let me fall when I have stepped out in faith. |
