Who can not deny that the present state of the leadership of America under Obama and the top leadership of congress this verse has sadly came true.So what is the answer? 2 Chronicles 7:14, If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land. Posted : 13 May, 2010 09:31 PM I agree that we have to pray for them... but at the same time, scripture tells us to submit to our leaders, because God has put them there to begin with. There is no leader that has gotten to where he/she is without God allowing that to happen. Maybe Obama isn't the best man for the job. Maybe he is. Either way, God has allowed him to enter this leadership role. Again, it may be to help us, and it may be to discipline us. I'm not God. I can't answer that right now. Our job is to acknowledge God and his choice, and submit ourselves to our leadership, as long as it doesn't interfere with our TRUE leadership (God). Fact of the matter is... it's impossible for us to know what would have happened if McCain had been elected (or any other candidate for that matter). God saw it fit to do things this particular way, so we just need to stop complaining and live in the peace that God is in control, no matter what. ... and I agree with Nyanda about the meaning of lowliest men. lol In Christ Garrett Post Reply

Posted : 14 May, 2010 03:13 AM The King James Bible interprets the identical word differently in 4:17, claiming that it means "basest" of men, a term that means low in the sense of crudeness or inability to perform the duties involved. This would mean the angelic watchman is implying that God gives kingdoms to men who don't deserve to be king, perhaps even representing a put-down of Nebuchadnezzar himself. The understanding is contained in the over all contects of what it is speaking about, When God decreed that Nebuchadnezzar because of his arraigance would eat grass like cattle for seven years until he acknowledged that God in Heaven rules, Daniel 4:24-26, Post Reply

We have another concern, Concerning our president what is his posture concerning Christianity?
