Why is it so important for believers to come into agreement with the word of God, it is past time to start believing the word of God and put down all the walls, because they divide and that is what our enemy's intention is to divide and conquer the body of Christ.
God said:Ge 2:17 But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.
Satan said:1 Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?
2 And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden:
3 But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die.
4 And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die:
5 For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.
6 And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise,
Satan said you won't die.
You know what it is still happenning today, beware of what you believe take heed of what you hear and you get in the bible and ask father teach me your word, and if your church does not teach the word of God find one that does.
One Example commonly said by Christians is I am a sinner saved by Grace. My question is to you who told you that was it of the one that from the beginning said God did not say.
Yes God does not say you are a sinner, if you are in his family, quite the contrary.
More importantly we need to understand why it is so important to understand you are not a sinner.
Genesis 6:5: "The LORD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every intention of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually."
Genesis 8:1: "And when the LORD smelled the pleasing aroma, the LORD said in his heart, "I will never again curse the ground because of man, for the intention of mans heart is evil from his youth. Neither will I ever again strike down every living creature as I have done.
Job 15:14: What is man, that he can be pure? Or he who is born of a woman, that he can be righteous?
15 Behold, God puts no trust in his holy ones, and the heavens are not pure in his sight; how much less one who is abominable and corrupt, a man who drinks injustice like water!
Job 25:4-6: How then can man be in the right before God? How can he who is born of woman be pure? 5Behold, even the moon is not bright, and the stars are not pure in his eyes; 6 how much less man, who is a maggot, and the son of man, who is a worm!"
Psalms 51:5: "Behold, I was brought forth in iniquity, and in sin did my mother conceive me."
Psalms 58:3: "The wicked are estranged from the womb; they go astray from birth, speaking lies."
Ecclesiastes 7:20: "Surely there is not a righteous man on earth who does good and never sins."
Ecclesiastes 9:3: "This is an evil in all that is done under the sun, that the same event happens to all. Also, the hearts of the children of man are full of evil, and madness is in their hearts while they live, and after that they go to the dead."
Jeremiah 17:9: "The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately sick; who can understand it?"
Jeremiah 13:23: (NIV): "Can the Ethiopian change his skin or the leopard its spots? Neither can you do good who are accustomed to doing evil."
Isaiah 64:6 "We have all become like one who is unclean, and all our righteous deeds are like a polluted garment. We all fade like a leaf, and our iniquities, like the wind, take us away"
Isaiah 64:7 "There is no one who calls upon your name, who rouses himself to take hold of you, for you have hidden your face from us and have made us melt in the hand of our iniquities."
Isaiah 64:8 "But now, O LORD, you are our Father; we are the clay, and you are our potter; we are all the work of your hand."
Mark 7:21-23: "For from within, out of the heart of man, come evil thoughts, sexual immorality, theft, murder, adultery, coveting, wickedness, deceit, sensuality, envy, slander, pride, foolishness. All these evil things come from within, and they defile a person."
John 3:19: "And this is the judgment: the light has come into the world, and people loved the darkness rather than the light because their deeds were evil."
John 6:44: "[Jesus said,] 'No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him. And I will raise him up on the last day.'"
John 6:64-65: "[Jesus said,] 'But there are some of you who do not believe.' (For Jesus knew from the beginning who those were who did not believe, and who it was who would betray him.) And he said, 'This is why I told you that no one can come to me unless it is granted him by the Father.'"
John 8:34: "Jesus answered them, 'Truly, truly, I say to you, everyone who commits sin is a slave to sin.'"

Romans 8:7-8: "For the mind that is set on the flesh is hostile to God, for it does not submit to God's law; indeed, it cannot. Those who are in the flesh cannot please God."
1 Corinthians 2:14: "The natural person does not accept the things of the Spirit of God, for they are folly to him, and he is not able to understand them because they are spiritually discerned."
Ephesians 2:1-3: "And you were dead in the trespasses and sins in which you once walked, following the course of this world, following the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that is now at work in the sons of disobedience - among whom we all once lived in the passions of our flesh, carrying out the desires of the body and the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, like the rest of mankind." (our depravity being emphasised in the concept of being "dead"; only something external -i.e. God- can give a dead man life)
Titus 3:3: "For we ourselves were once foolish, disobedient, led astray, slaves to various passions and pleasures, passing our days in malice and envy, hated by others and hating one another."
I am having difficulty understanding how you're getting from point A to point B here, that is, I'm not seeing how the passage from Genesis that you quoted is leading you to the idea that members of God's family are not sinners. Please explain?
In my reading and study of the Word, I've found quite the contrary. The verses manofgod quoted are some excellent examples as to why the concept of all mankind being sinners IS a Biblical one. It is true that we are justified, meaning that God declares believers "not guilty." It is also true that believers undergo the process of sanctification, which is the PROCESS of becoming more like Christ through the work of the Holy Spirit. And it is true that believers WILL one day be glorified, that is, that we will be sinless and fully clothed in righteousness at the consummation of our redemption. It is important to note that glorification is the state of the believer in Heaven; it is not something that is "achieved" here on this earth.
Romans 8:18-25 (NIV)
18I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us. 19The creation waits in eager expectation for the sons of God to be revealed. 20For the creation was subjected to frustration, not by its own choice, but by the will of the one who subjected it, in hope 21that the creation itself will be liberated from its bondage to decay and brought into the glorious freedom of the children of God.
22We know that the whole creation has been groaning as in the pains of childbirth right up to the present time. 23Not only so, but we ourselves, who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, groan inwardly as we wait eagerly for our adoption as sons, the redemption of our bodies. 24For in this hope we were saved. But hope that is seen is no hope at all. Who hopes for what he already has? 25But if we hope for what we do not yet have, we wait for it patiently.
The bible says we are not sinners but christians say they are, so who is telling the christians that they are, defining christian as one that is born again.
Hopefully, my articulation is good enough to communicate the point, it is another way of me saying why don't we just believe the word of God.
Do we understand the law of faith? if you believe you are a sinner, you will then have faith to sin, are we not free from sin?
Pixy who is the you in this scripture: and what does this scripture say about you?
2nd cor 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
When I was first born again someone said to me that I was still a sinner, and almost immediately laughter rolled out of my mouth, please understand I was not at the person, I didn't know any scriptures and I said you have to be kidding me, I have been a sinner all my life now I am his and you are trying to tell me I am a sinner.
That is exactly what come out of my mouth.
How could I know that and and not know any scripture, is that at all possible? of course!!
I always tell me people when the ask me what are you most thankful for my answer is (The Truth), that is the latter part of John 17:17, So i don't believe that God can lie, we must approach the word with that belief, all scripture is true and when we find two scripture's that seems to contradict what we believe, we must look for a third to reconcile the two, for it is impossible for God to lie. I was told that was that was an old Jewish saying, I believe it to be a very wise statement
Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinnersof whom I am the worst."
Paul's wording isn't past tense, but very present tense: "of whom I am the worst". If Paul, an apostle of the Lord Jesus Christ, still called himself a sinner, though giving a defense for the Gospel of Peace, a reason to believe that Jesus did die for sinners once and for all and that we are covered by His atoning blood through faith in this Historic Death and Resurrection, then I too, a bond slave of the Lord can also called myself a sinner who is a child of the King.
When my child sins against me, do I lose sight of their place as daughter or son, all the while seeing them only as a sinner? No, I see them as my sinner child, whom I dearly love. The indescribable Father not only saved us before we knew we needed to be saved, but also called us in our sin, knowing we would still sin after we accepted His Son. This makes His grace all the more amazing, because I am His child, yet I still sin, and He knew I would, yet His Love never fails and His grace abounds.
Stunning, isn't it!
Recognizing that yes in fact I am a sinner, and in my eyes, "chiefest of all", but knowing that God in His great love sees me covered in the blood and an heir of Jesus, makes me so humbled.
Pixy I am sorry about not communicating very well, my point
My reference to Genesis was simply to say, all we have to do is just believe what God said in his Word, about any given topic, but as christians we seem to get away from the truth and apply other scriptures to a given topic and ultimately end up eating from the tree of Good and evil, instead of The the tree of life, being the word of God.
When we refer to old testament scriptures and the sin factor, the word of God was written to people spiritually dead, it is the truth but all that truth does not apply to a person alive unto God.
They where under the Law of Sin and death and christians are no longer under the law of Sin and death.
Ro 8:2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.
