Decided what to do...

Ok...so...there seems to be a tiny conflict of beliefs. I don't count myself in either camp but I seem to be getting pushed into one. I try not to judge beliefs and just stick to sharing, and lately "defending" mine, but its been turning into a war more often than not. Driven away quite a few people who's opinion I respect, and that's partly my fault...but I'm just saying...a place to discuss and share beliefs has turned into a war zone. I just think EVERYBODY needs to take a step back, just share their beliefs, and let God do the rest. We need to worry more about ourselves and what we believe, instead of making it our job to prove others wrong. I'm sorry to say it...but if certain people on here are trying "witness" they are failing horribly...in my opinion. Anyway...I'm starting to think I'm part of the problem/doing the same "horrible witness" thing. Even if I'm not, it's wearing me down, or I'm wearing myself down, when I already have enough problems to deal with. So...in case I don't see ya'! Good afternoon, good evening, and good night! Later, dudes! Fweedom!:rocknroll:

Wow. Truman... I never thought I'd see the day that YOU escaped... LOL. I hope you're still going to be around here (the forums). I've always appreciated hearing from you. You always seem to have an insightful perspective on various issues. If you are truly backing out for good, then good-bye, dear friend. If you're not quite sure yet, then DON'T GO. lol. Either way, it's been a privilege to have been able to talk with you about our awesome God. Peace out, Truman.

In Christ

i don't mind people having different beliefs, i believe everyone is convinced of their love for God. i just pray that with all the disagreements no one turns bitter or vengeful or anything like that. debate is healthy, i just really pray that no matter what we believe that we all James 1:27 "...keep ourselves unspotted from the world". we will all have a place in God's kingdom once chosen. Jesus said John 14:3 "i have gone to prepare a place for YOU..." to be clear.... GOD is the one who choses, so i really would like to discourage replies about who will be chosen based on scripture or whatever method. i think if we agree that GOD will chose and leave the details up to him we would be in a lot better shape:bouncy: and maybe more of us will get in

there is a thin line between debating and fighting, i do not know that it has been crossed really, what i see are people's views. when u don't agree, you state your position. where i think the warfare atmosphere is coming from is where we present our arguments and someone takes offence. what i'm about to say may be a bit controversal, but i believe it. people get defensive/offensive when they are not 100% convicted by what they proclaim, and that insecurity fuels a lot of fires. where as a healthy opposition in debate is not volatile, but thoroughly convinced of their truth, matter of fact the bible talks about it:laugh: James 1:8 "A double minded man is unstable in all his ways." :stop:i'm not attacking anyone! just my general observations...

i respect you hitman, people ask you questions and you respond with a healthy opposition. please do not be discouraged by any notion of warfare or horrible witnessing. let's get beyond milk together! there is a lot of fruits to be harvested from this forum; patience, love, wisdom, knowledge etc God is doing a work in all of us, if he can stand a knuckle head like me well...

You are my sister one of the few that try to be objective, and a peacemaker, and in thus being spiritual.

It is easy to say I am right and you are wrong, but is that really what happens here, if we are truly born again we are to judge all things, we are to know the fruit of all that speak. and maybe most do not like those stand in the light of the word.

The truth is this, the word is correct all the time, it is not a lie nor is it to be corrupted, so the question is,is faith in the word of God, or the word of man.

Not all are in the family of God some of us believe, all can be, but know all will choose life.

The issue is or all our brothers in Christ, it is not for me to say, I personally don't know how one can be in fellowship with the lord, and with their actions say the word of God is not true.

As for me i do not believe that debate is right, and I have been guilty of it and I know better, so I have been wrong, my emphasis will always be on the word of God, not man's influence thru a denomination, so it will always cause rebuttal when you agree wholeheartedly with the word of God. you will be called by many a false teacher, the word of God shows us that so each be the judge of that according to the word of God.

My heart and desire is that all would walk in truth

There has to be fault somewhere because the holy spirit knows only one truth, and he leads all men in truth.

listen to what comes out of the heart in abundance, the word of God or the word of man, from the mind and reasoning faculties, or from the heart of man.

Thanks for allowing to share my heart.
