Invitation to Christian discussion group......!

I would like to invite you all to a Christian discussion group called a Christian world-view.

Here is the home page that explains the group:

"Christianity is not a series of truths in the plural, But rather truth spelled with a capital "T". Truth about total reality, not just about religious things. Biblical Christianity is Truth concerning total reality- and the intellectual holding of that total Truth and then living in the light of that truth." Francis Schaeffer (address at the University of Notre Dame, April 1981) This group is for discussing how to form a Christian worldview, and liberating Christianity from it's cultural captivity. It is also for orthodox and non-orthodox Christians who wish to discuss and or debate anything about the bible, and how to live out what is written therein. Redemption is not just about being saved from sin, it is also about being saved TO something--to resume the task for which we were originally created. Many Topics can be discussed within the realms of Christian fellowship, on a group concerning having a Christian world view, but promoting heresy or things to further the counter reformation, ie. popishness, Pelagianism, or being Justified before God by trusting in anything other than Christ alone, will not be tolerated. Treating each other with fairness, honesty and charity, crowned with humility, should always be our aim. This is also a place for Praying for, and encouraging each other to continue in the faith.

If this sounds interesting to you, please stop by and see what you think. We have a lot of interesting conversations.

Thanks!

james... question...1) would you recommend this forum(CDFF) to the people on that site or anyone else for that matter?

i have never seen you discuss anything on this site, you always come off as a full vessel.

2) why would i believe that this site is about "discussions" as opposed to moral/mental take over by the elite?

my thoughts about this site from your description sounds like a heaping mound of selfrighteousness dissemination of the word of Truth...

i don't follow links from this site... but if i were to follow one, it would have to be from a person who i am convinced is searching the richness of Christ and not one who seems to have already found it and is peddling it to unassuming christians!

John 10:27 (King James Version) "My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:" i encourage you christians to get intune with the sheperd's voice... and do not be snared!:stop:

Nyanda,

You said:

James... question...1) would you recommend this forum(CDFF) to the people on that site or anyone else for that matter?

James replies:

Yes, I would! we try to have a deep respect for Classic historic Christian beliefs, and we have plenty of lighhearted conversations, and since a Christian world view means seeing ALL of life through the lens of Scripture we talk about everything from comedy, to movies, to art, ect.

Nyanda continues:

i have never seen you discuss anything on this site, you always come off as a full vessel.

James replies:

That is a good criticism of me! I do come off like that most of the time. I have studied a lot and debated a lot, and so, I do have positions on most things in the Bible.

But, we have only talked about a very few topics on this board.

I apologize for coming off like a "full vessel". I certainly don't know everything, and I am probably wrong about some things also. That being said, Iron sharpens Iron, and strong debate can help a person, including myself, learn more and study harder.

Nyanda continues:

2) why would i believe that this site is about "discussions" as opposed to moral/mental take over by the elite?

James replies:

I think you would have to check out the conversations for yourself. You can join and then look back into the older posts and see for yourself.

Nyanda continues:

James replies:

Yikes! It is far from that. We pray for each other, talk about all kinds of things, and most of us are friends and have known each other for years. There is only one way for you to find out, and that is to check out the group.

Nyanda continues:

James replies:

It is up to you. Just know you have been invited!

John 10:27 (King James Version) "My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:" i encourage you christians to get intune with the sheperd's voice... and do not be snared!

James replies:

Amen to that!
