Jesus celebrated the passover and showed his followers how to come to salvation by his love for us.

The feast it self is like the life of christ.

The bread is broken into 3 pieces while the children go outside and look for Elijah. Before the children come back inside 1 piece of bread is wrapped in white linnen.

dgrimater, I'm curious where to you find in the bible about the three pieces of bread? I have never read that but surely it must be there.

Thanks, Gary

gary it is part of the passover feast. This is not in the word but, the jews have broke the bread since the time of Moses.

The part where the children go out to look for Elijah was added later. Then Jesus did away with the sacriface part, The lamb.

For more information go to your christian book store. From time to time they will have books on the passover.

The Passover Haggadai is one of the books I have.

The other is a Feast for all Seasons. Certain aspects were never put in the word but was just part of the feast. The feast it self teaches parts of the life of christ.

I also have a dvd at home on it.I will get the name and put it here soon.Dennis

Good morning Dennis

I am not sure I understand right. Are you referring to jewish Pesach (hope I spell it right)? I mean the celebrating where one asks "why is this night different than other nights?"

Good morning Dennis

I am not sure if this is apropriate but I would love to hear more about this feast.

In Europe it is still very difficult to have insight and fellowship with our jewish brothers as a result of the Holocaust.

Christians in Europe (fortunately not all) obviously have utterly failed to reach out to jewish society during Nazi German Endlsung activities.

Christian churches are trying to reach out but of course this will take a long time and we can only blame ourselves for this situation.

Well to cut a long story short, please tell me how it is celebrated and I suppose there is a deeper meaning of the coincidence that The Last Supper happened to be on this Passover. Please explain.

Also the bread in white linnen? And looking for Eliah?

Please hurry I am very anxious to hear.
