On the passover the jews ate the bread and drank wine. This was always the body and blood of christ. As the uears went on things hae been added. The children ran outside to see if Elijah was coming. The bread was broken into 3 pieces. The 3 parts of god.

One was wrapped in white linen.

It was hidden while the children were outside.

When jesus came this was to tell the jews who he is.

The passover meal covers all 4 gospels at once.

Go to your local christian book store and read up on it.

So, the communion was done by the jews since Moses,ok.

Jesus changed how it was done.

He said," Do this to remember me."

Friends things were added as yhe years went by. Jesusfull filled the feast. It also, covers his life. As john the baptist was the voice in the wilderness.Jesus was buried in a white cloth.Dennis

When you say "fulfilled the feast", are you implying that we should no longer/or not required to keep the passover at its appointed time? Just a question...

Agreed! So I wonder, why doesnt the majority of the christian body observe this holy day? I mean, God commanded the children of Israel to celebrate forever, Jesus and His followers kept it, and it does commemorate the death and sacrifice of our Lord. So why do we (the majority that is) ignore the date and manner of the holy day God established while adhering to a celebration that God nor His Word never sanctioned?

Many say "well, thats done away with", yet they celebrate Easter which the bible never mentions as a day which "fulfilled" the holy day previously given. Also, its well documented that this holiday was a pre-christian, pagan festival dedicated to a pagan goddess and her son. What's up with that??

Imj7 ~ I dont know why or whats up with that...jus know that some Christain people dont hold the Sabbath an Feasts Holy. There is many differances between denominations of religion an many debates over these topics...which I've learned here to tread lightly becuz there are those that will bash anyones personal belief that does not fit thier box....So God's blessins to you and yours today an always...xo
