Admin	Is it love: Posted : 17 Feb, 2010 06:35 AM To label Believers such as: pentecostal, word of Faith, charismatic? Do you suppose it is of the heart of Agape? Do you see anywhere in the Bible that Jesus encourages believers to create divisions amongst themselves? I have never considered myself other than a spirit filled, fire baptized believer, I was brought up with the designation of Catholic but I let go of that designation when I received the lord. I considered myself blessed to be a part of the church. What a privelge it is to know the lord and be intimate with him. Post Reply

I say I am charismatic but there are things that I dont completely agree with as with all denominations. Should we be labeled, nope. We should be united as "the church, the bride, the body" and it will be someday, we're headed that direction. As with any big move of God, the enemy always tries to come in and bring division and stop the work but God is the victor and will have His way. Revival is here and spreading across America. I think River brings up a good point about Satan coming in and causing divisions. I don't like to call myself Methodist. I am just a Christian. In the world I live in, sadly, there isn't a local group of believers that just call themselves Christians. They all have a label. Baptist. Catholic. Church of Christ. So, to try and avoid this hurdle, I choose a church where I believe the people are a lot like me. Not necessarily in beliefs... just like me in general. I've learned that some Christians don't always hold true to their denomination stereotype. For that reason, I try my best to ignore what denomination someone else has claimed or is a part of simply because they are Christians. I'll find out what they believe once I get to know them better, personally. That is love. It's personal. Great point, man. In Christ Garrett Post Reply
