View Profile History	Full Time Ministry? Posted : 16 Feb, 2010 10:22 PM Well... I'm in a part-time youth ministry right now, but I TREAT it like full-time. I just honestly don't understand how anyone can only commit PART of their life to ministry. If you can... congrats, cause I can't. lol. I plan on going into full-time ministry, but in the Methodist church, you have to be at least 5 years older than the oldest youth in your youth group to become a full-time youth minister. I'm close, but not quite there, so I'm working under another guy, which is a blessing in itself. Two heads are better than one! I am questioning, though, what "ministry" is actually supposed to look like. Am I getting it right, or am I missing something. I'm really considering challenging America's view of the "church", not as an argument, but as an "I'm challenging you to...". I'm not quite sure what that looks like right now. I guess time will tell. Finally... One thing I have learned while working in a church... It is a whole nother world in itself. I never knew... In Christ Garrett Post Reply
