Leviticus HelpPosted : 28 Jan, 2010 06:09 PMSo I'm starting out the new year reading the Penetuch and Psalms as I usually do. I'm currently in Leviticus and I always find it the most difficult. Anyone have any ideas on how I can really dig into this book and glean truth from it? All my usual reference materials/study bibles are in long term storage at the moment. |

Leviticus HelpPosted : 28 Jan, 2010 07:27 PMWell...I know how you feel, and about the only thing I can think of is to look for parallels to Jesus's ministry in the sanctuary services and offerings. Leviticus...Numbers...Deuteronomy...all hard, but there is some cool stuff if you dig deep enough. Just try and think of all the offerings and services as physical expressions of a spiritual impression. That was basically what the Jewish example was supposed to be to us. The old physical outward covenant in contrast with the new spiritual inward covenant. |
