Eye has not seen!Posted : 21 Jan, 2010 04:15 PMI think it means that no man has either seen anything or heard anything or felt anything in his heart that can compare to what God has prepared for us. |

Eye has not seen!Posted : 21 Jan, 2010 08:50 PMusb... For me, well... I have no idea of God's power in my life unless I willingly yield to trust him for that which I don't see. I can think that I know He or His promises and my inheritance, but I can never quantify it in my own terms or estimation. "All that God has perpared for those who love Him"... and I love Him, I have no idea His magnitude of blessings in my life. He can do more abundantly exceedingly more than I could ever hope for. |

Eye has not seen!Posted : 3 Feb, 2010 01:42 PMI feel it means that things are just going to get better. Just as becoming a Christian took me to a "level" I'd never imagined possible, It goes to show just how much more He has to offer |

Eye has not seen!Posted : 12 Feb, 2010 11:36 AMOne aspect of what that means is the natural or carnal man can not discern or perceive anything of God. The best and highest that we can dream would come woefully short of God's purpose and intention for the church. But the next verse says in part..."but God hath revealed these things by His Spirit..." |

Eye has not seen!Posted : 21 Jul, 2010 07:20 PMYes this is true. God reveals His purpose through the Holy Spirit and it is according to His will and timing. Every revelation has a PURPOSE and not intended for just a "manifestation" of the gifts a Christian has. A pastor's wife in my former church had this knack of giving prophecies |
