If we can believe that Christ was risen fron the dead and rose up to heaven then our ascent is very easy to believe. If not,,,,,,,,, then Paul said if we dont preach christ risen then our hope is in vain. if we dont believe in the ressurection of christ then we are of all men most miserble. I just find it interesting that this is not the first time people in the Bible have been swept off their feet, in a manner of speaking. It would be an interesting study. There are so many unexplained things in the Bible that I find facinating. I would like to find the common thread. I know we see through a glass darkly and that one of these days all will be clear when we meet Him face to face. I guess in the meantime I'll just sit around and hypothesize my curiosity. Post Reply

I would have to say FAITH would be the common thread to be taking up or risen up. If you recall Peter walking on the sea as JESUS did but not for long. His faith diminished; probably by fear of sinking. Elijah, Enoch and others were men of great faith. But there were others that were 'caught up' and no mention of their plight. So, as a personal opinion, I would say FAITH is the WAY. T:goofball:mie Post Reply

According to Webster: Faith=Strong belief in God Substance=Ultimate reality Hope=To expect with confidence Evidence=Outward sign/to be seen/ proof So: Faith is our unwavering belief that God will really,really, really make it happen if we keep looking for it!
