Let me ask this, to strengthen your faith.



Why do you say you believe in "God" when it is a false retronymic term



If Deuteronomy 4:2 and Revelation 22:18-19 state that you are forbidden from adding to the scriptures, or diminishing ought regarding them, then why would you use the term "GOD" when it was invented in the 6th Century?



Aren't you deceiving yourself by using a false retronymic term?

The curses in Revelation are for those that add to the Book of Revelation and for those that subtract from the Book of Revelation. (Revelation 22:18-19)

But Jesus says, Matthew 5:19, that "anyone who sets aside one of the least of these commands and teaches others accordingly will be called least in the kingdom of heaven, but whoever practices and teaches these commands will be called great in the kingdom of heaven."

There are many languages. Perhaps we should all speak and write in Hebrew and speak and write in Greek. But more of us do not know Hebrew and more of us do not know Greek.

May be it is good to say "Jesus" and "God".

It is better to misuse those names than the actual names.

Isn't it better to misuse those names than their actual names?

Exodus 20:7

“You shall not misuse the name of the Lord your God, for the Lord will not hold anyone guiltless who misuses his name.

Deuteronomy 5:11

“You shall not misuse the name of the Lord your God, for the Lord will not hold anyone guiltless who misuses his name.

Psalm 139:20

They speak of you with evil intent; your adversaries misuse your name.
