Falling Into the Same Sin Again and Again — Is There Hope?

You should belong to a local Church home/family and have as many Christian friends who can be a good influence on you in order to help you over come habitual sin and by seeing good examples of how it's done.
Many things can be a bad habit and sin is no exception. You need to replace your sin habits with good habits that aren't sins and hanging around other Christians can help with that.
The opposite to that is hanging around with non Christian friends can keep you from overcoming bad habits because they can reinforce them.
Of course reading God's word helps and is the best habit you can form against habitual sin but you still need all the rest.
Matthew 13: 1-9
1That same day Jesus went out of the house and sat by the lake. 2Such large crowds gathered around him that he got into a boat and sat in it, while all the people stood on the shore. 3Then he told them many things in parables, saying: “A farmer went out to sow his seed. 4As he was scattering the seed, some fell along the path, and the birds came and ate it up. 5Some fell on rocky places, where it did not have much soil. It sprang up quickly, because the soil was shallow. 6But when the sun came up, the plants were scorched, and they withered because they had no root. 7Other seed fell among thorns, which grew up and choked the plants. 8Still other seed fell on good soil, where it produced a crop—a hundred, sixty or thirty times what was sown. 9Whoever has ears, let them hear.”
Matthew 13: 18-23
18“Listen then to what the parable of the sower means: 19When anyone hears the message about the kingdom and does not understand it, the evil one comes and snatches away what was sown in their heart. This is the seed sown along the path. 20The seed falling on rocky ground refers to someone who hears the word and at once receives it with joy. 21But since they have no root, they last only a short time. When trouble or persecution comes because of the word, they quickly fall away. 22The seed falling among the thorns refers to someone who hears the word, but the worries of this life and the deceitfulness of wealth choke the word, making it unfruitful. 23But the seed falling on good soil refers to someone who hears the word and understands it. This is the one who produces a crop, yielding a hundred, sixty or thirty times what was sown.”

Amit, thank you for your honesty in sharing your battle experience with sin.
YES, there IS hope ‼️‼️🙏
The Bible is chock full of examples of sinful people with all kinds of sinful experiences.
But God is able to save. He justifies (cancels forever the sin debt that makes people unclean. God makes a repentant sinner immediately right with God by what the Bible calls “justification”) and then God works on our daily sanctification (this second work of salvation takes place as God makes the person holy as the repentant person walks day by day with God in prayer and Bible study).
It should give you much hope when God calls himself, “…the God who justifies the wicked…”. It gives me ALOT of hope.
Amit I would like to ad more including the Bible verse I pointed to but before I do that, may I ask you to share with me what it means to be a Christian in the Bible? In your view, how does one become a Christian?

Give up viewing what you shouldn't view.
Give up doing what you shouldn't do.
1 John 5:16
If you see any brother or sister commit a sin that does not lead to death, you should pray and God will give them life. I refer to those whose sin does not lead to death. There is a sin that leads to death. I am not saying that you should pray about that. (1 John 5:16)

1 Corinthians 6:9-11
do you not know that wrongdoers will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor men who have sex with men nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. And that is what some of you were. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God. (1 Corinthians 6:9-11)
