Be not afraid of sudden fear, neither of the desolation of the wicked, when it cometh. For the LORD shall be thy confidence, and shall keep thy foot from being taken. (Proverbs 3:25-26)



Reflection

With Jesus as our confidence, we have nothing to fear. The Lord has command over all things and promises to keep us from being taken out of His hand.



My Prayer: Lord, I thank you for Your love that keeps me securely in Your hands! Help me to depend on You when evil comes to tempt me. Thank You that I have nothing to fear, for You are always with me.

Amen!

Just thought of a time when what I believed God for didn't pan out. The fear that overcame me in that season was so suffocating I could hardly pray or read my bible. I randomly ( I believe it was the leading of the Holy Spirit) came across similar verses, and was uplifted. While things didn't work out in the way I had hoped, I'm certain that everything turned out as the Lord intended. I am constantly reminded of God's unfailing love and perfect will.
