HC, I can’t garrantee you’ll ever receive an answer from yours truly but you will get a response 😉
Moonlight, thank you for sharing the Roman Catholic website. But I tend to ignore “Christian” denominations that substitute biblical doctrine with the traditions of men.
Hope you receive this admonition with at least a little reflection. Yes, many “Christians” favor a Universalists approach to theology believing that all “Christian” denominations are equally valid and theologically sound. Worse yet, some Christians stretch their Universalist philosophy even further by endorsing the validity of other religious systems. They think everybody is basically heading in the same direction but down different paths. If this is your idea of biblical unity, (and it sure seems so), then your need to reconsider the path you’ve chosen

Moonlight, thank you for sharing a Roman Catholic website. But I tend to ignore “Christian” denominations that substitute biblical doctrine with their own unbiblical traditions made by men, sorta like the distortions of scripture that your comments often contain.
Hope you receive this admonition with at least a little circumspection. Sadly many “Christians” like you favor a Universalists approach to theology believing that all “Christian” denominations are equally valid and theologically sound. Worse yet, some Christians even stretch their Universalist philosophy further by endorsing the validity of non-Christian religious systems. They think everybody is basically heading in the same direction even though heading down different paths.
If this is your idea of biblical unity, (and it sure seems so), then you’re in deep need to reconsider the path you’ve chosen

Probably one of the worst things to do is put true Christianity under the umbrella of a religion. By doing so confuses a lot of people into believing anything called a religion must be Godly and so following them is going to get them closer to God.
Christianity is Gods attempt to reach man and religion is mans attempt to reach God.
I personally don't call Christianity a religion and I don't consider Catholicism Christianity but a religion. There are many more like Catholicism that add many religious elements to their worship and most are centered around works but in the case of Catholics they also worship idols.
Worshiping idols is a big no,no scripturaly and anyone who condones it is way off base. It wouldn't surprise me given the way moonjelly reacts on here that she condones all religions. She doesn't appear to have a true moral compass and is easily led astray by her own devices.
