God loves those that love him. Those that don't love him go to hell. What greater love than this?
“Was not Esau Jacob’s brother?” declares the Lord. “Yet I have loved Jacob, but Esau I have hated." (Malachi 1:2-3)
Jacob I loved, but Esau I hated. (Romans 9:13)
God so loved the world (John 3:16) but 1 John 2:15 says "Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, love for the Father is not in them." and 2 Timothy 4:10 says, "because he loved this world, has deserted me."
If you belonged to the world, it would love you as its own. As it is, you do not belong to the world, but I have chosen you out of the world. That is why the world hates you. (John 15:19)
Who is to comprehend the love of God? (Ecclesiastes 8:17)
God is love. (1 John 4:8)
Whoever claims to love God yet hates a brother or sister is a liar. For whoever does not love their brother and sister, whom they have seen, cannot love God, whom they have not seen. (1 John 4:20)
If you love those who love you, what reward will you get? Are not even the tax collectors doing that? And if you greet only your own people, what are you doing more than others? Do not even pagans do that? (Matthew 5:46-47)
The subject of love, Jesus says, "If you love me, keep my commands." (John 14:15)
“Anyone who loves me will obey my teaching." (John 14:23) "Anyone who does not love me will not obey my teaching." (John 14:24)
Lots of love going around.
Not only does the Bible tell a husband to love his wife (Ephesians 5:25, Ephesians 5:28 and Colossians 3:19), but Titus 2:4 says that women are to love their husbands. That often gets overlooked.
The commandments, “You shall not commit adultery,” “You shall not murder,” “You shall not steal,” “You shall not covet,” and whatever other command there may be, are summed up in this one command: “Love your neighbor as yourself.” (Romans 13:9)
Love your enemies. (Matthew 5:44)
God wants us to love our enemies so much that he has us marrying them.
Does love divorce?
To the married I give this command (not I, but the Lord): A wife must not separate from her husband. But if she does, she must remain unmarried or else be reconciled to her husband. And a husband must not divorce his wife. (1 Corinthians 7:10-11)
“Moses permitted you to divorce your wives because your hearts were hard. But it was not this way from the beginning." (Matthew 19:8)

The Bible tells us that God both loves people and hates people. Does God love or HateWhether we like it or not, the Scriptures teach that God hates those who love violence and love evil. God is too holy to approve of those who love what is opposite to God’s character and nature. But on the other hand, generically speaking, God loves the whole world (John 3:16). Also, he lets the sun shine on the good and the bad. He let’s the rain fall upon all people. So, in this context, he loves all (Matthew 5:43-48).
God loves people
John 3:16, “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life.”
Rom. 5:8, “But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”
1 John 4:7-8,16, “Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God. 8 The one who does not love does not know God, for God is love…16 God is love, and the one who abides in love abides in God… “
God hates people
Psalm 5:5, “The boastful shall not stand before Thine eyes; Thou dost hate all who do iniquity.”
Psalm 11:5, “The Lord tests the righteous and the wicked, And the one who loves violence His soul hates.”
Proverbs 6:16-19, “There are six things which the Lord hates, yes, seven which are an abomination to Him: 17 Haughty eyes, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, 18 A heart that devises wicked plans, feet that run rapidly to evil, 19 A false witness who utters lies, and one who spreads strife among brothers.”
Hosea 9:15, “All their evil is at Gilgal; indeed, I came to hate them there! Because of the wickedness of their deeds I will drive them out of My house! I will love them no more; All their princes are rebels.”
God both loves and hates. His nature is love (1 John 4:8), but He is also righteous (Psalm 7:9) and holy (Isaiah 6:3). The very fact that He does not incinerate all of humanity for its sin against Him is due to his loving-kindness. God doesn’t owe anyone anything. We are sinners and as such, we have offended Him because we have broken His laws – and His laws are a reflection of His character. But, God in His great mercy, sent His Son to die for our sins so that we might have eternal life by receiving Christ as Savior (John 1:12; Rom. 10:9-10).
Does God hate❓❓ Yes. Does God love? Yes. This is not a contradiction. This is simply the truth

Too many “Christians” think God is just some sorta undefined “love”.
But to love the way God loves means you have to hate certain things like the kind of things that God hates. Things like sin and the world’s kind of false love like it says here in 1 John 2:16 For all that is in the world—👉👉👉the desires of the flesh👈👈👈 and 👉👉👉the desires of the eyes👈👈👈 and 👉👉👉pride of life👈👈👈—is 👉👉not👈👈 from the Father but is 👉👉from the world.👈👈‼️‼️‼️‼️
