In Him, you also, after LISTENING to the MESSAGE OF TRUTH, the GOSPEL OF YOUR SALVATION—HAVING also BELIEVED, you WERE SEALED in Him with the HOLY SPIRIT of the promise, who is a first installment of our inheritance, in regard to the redemption of God’s own possession, to the praise of His glory. Posted : 25 Oct, 2024 05:41 PM Hey HC ‼️‼️‼️ A lot of great discussion ‼️‼️‼️ Especially anything that concerns👉👉salvation👈👈. Thats the ONE thing you👉👉can’t👈👈get wrong. There’s a lot a person can get wrong about salvation. For example: the Pharisees claimed they believed in the true God and followed the law of Moses. But Jesus called them out. The truth is, they were living in disobedience to the law of Moses. The only thing they obeyed was their own man made traditions‼️‼️‼️ Post Reply

Posted : 25 Oct, 2024 06:08 PM It’s a pretty safe bet to assume that a lot of “Christians” have their own set of 👉man made up traditions👈 but they think they’re going to heaven. Roman Catholicism is one such false man made tradition. Another false tradition happens when “Christians” create their own form of “once saved always saved” belief. Although true, once truly saved a person can never lose salvation but some claiming to be saved want to continue in sin. The Bible calls people like that “false Christians” who will eventually end up in hell. Other deceived “Christians” believe they can lose their salvation. Some of them may rightly deny that salvation is by works but they live as though their salvation depends on their works‼️‼️ The truth is: salvation is by grace alone, although it’s a free gift to men, it wasn’t free. It cost Jesus ALOT‼️‼️ The Bible commands all Christians to periodically examine themselves to make sure they are truly in the faith. People who want to go on sinning give evidence of not truly being saved. People who repent and turn from evil and look forward to the Lord’s return and obey Jesus give real evidence of true salvation. True Christians may not always obey Jesus perfectly but it is the direction of their lives Post Reply

Upon justification being saved by grace through faith, then kicks in sanctification Philippians 1:6 he is finishing a perfect work begun in US. This requires our full cooperation. Like you said meaning cannot achieve sinless perfectionism on the side of eternity, Paul testifies of that in Romans 7:15 when he says I do the things which I hate. But @ the same time shouldn't become lukewarm laodiceans either otherwise Jesus Christ said he will spew us from his mouth . When we first got saved & became new babes on the milk , we were on fire for Jesus Christ & wanted to see the rest of the world starting with our family friends coworkers neighbors whoever around us , get saved as well.
