God reminded me to keep my ear tuned to only Him!

A little bit ago, God was reminding me to be ever cautious of what I accept as true for my own life. Whatever He has spoken to me or whatever task He has given me to do is the final Word. Of course it means really staying in prayer because God is not going to give me something outside of His Word, and I have to know the difference.
But He was just reminding me that He has given us all tasks to do while we are on this earth and the enemy desires to stop us. One of the methods the enemy uses is to talk us out of it.
Here is a good example:
First God made it plain that He wanted His wall rebuilt.
Daniel 9:25b
25b) �the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times��
Then when it was time, God told Nehemiah His plan, and Nehemiah told the crew. They were jazzed about it!
Nehemiah 2:18
18) And I told them of the hand of my God which had been good upon me, and also of the king�s words that he had spoken to me. So they said, �Let us rise up and build.� Then they set their hands to this good work.
They actually started building the wall, and it was going very well! Then all of the sudden here comes the enemy. He is furious that people care about Judah and speak against it.
Nehemiah 4:2
2) And he spoke before his brethren and the army of Samaria , and said, �What are these feeble Jews doing? Will they fortify themselves? Will they offer sacrifices? Will they complete it in a day? Will they revive the stones from the heaps of rubbish�stones that are burned?�
Then all of the sudden, look what Judah spoke about themselves
Nehemiah 4:10
10) Then Judah said, �The strength of the laborers is failing, and there is so much rubbish that we are not able to build the wall.�
They are mirroring their enemy�s words almost verbatim! What happened to all their trust in God?! What happened to all their drive, purpose and passion?!! It�s out the window! Now, they are no longer strong, capable and powerful, but they are weak, incapable and feeble. Their strength is failing, there is too much rubbish and they just can�t do it. God�s Words were replaced by satan�s and they can�t see it! Do you see how the enemy slithers?!
Isn�t that a pile of malarkey?!!!
Nehemiah had to remind them of God�s strength and encourage them to fight!
Nehemiah 4:14
14) And I looked, and arose and said to the nobles, to the leaders, and to the rest of the people, �Do not be afraid of them. Remember the Lord, great and awesome, and fight for your brethren, your sons, your daughters, your wives, and your houses.�
So I have to ask myself if I am holding on to anything contrary to what God has spoken to me. If I have doubts about my purpose when previously I was crystal clear, then this may be how they got there.
Psalm 64:1-4
1) Hear my voice, O God, in my meditation; Preserve my life from fear of the enemy.
2) Hide me from the secret plots of the wicked, From the rebellion of the workers of iniquity,
3) Who sharpen their tongue like a sword, And bend their bows to shoot their arrows�bitter words,
4) That they may shoot in secret at the blameless; Suddenly they shoot at him and do not fear.
God reminded me that every beast has a form of attack. Dogs bite, scorpions sting, kangaroos punch, skunks spray, porcupines stick. Well satan speaks � just like in Nehemiah.
SO I HAVE TO REMEMBER TO ALWAYS CAST IT DOWN ASAP!!! NO OTHER OPTION!!!!
2 Corinthians 10: 3-5
3) For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh.
4) For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds,
5) casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ,
Everything that God did not give me has to GO! Or satan will try to throw a saddle on my back and ride me all over town like his personal pony! No way! I am not forfeiting any assignments or goals God has given me because the enemy says I should!
Instead I�m going to do this and I hope you do to!
Colossians 3:16-17
16) Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.
17) And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.
If God said �we can do all things through Him,� then we can! If God said �We are more than conquerors� then we are!� If God said to �Love your enemies� then we better! If God has given us specific tasks to do, then we must�and we can!
Because in Christ, we are STRONG! CAPABLE! ABLE! AND ALL OF HEAVEN IS BACKING US UP, SO WE HAVE TO GO FOR IT WHILE WE�RE ON THIS EARTH!!!
Praise Him! Love Him! Trust Him!

If you would read your bible more and pray less then you would hear the real voice of God. God speaks to us through is word and prayer is how we speak to God.
In regards to building a wall, God has set Israel aside until the time of the Gentile. Read Romans the 15th chapter and you will see God has set aside Israel and now both Jew and Gentile are a new creation in Christ. In other words God is dealing with both Jew and Gentile as indivituals only. Not nationally. A new creation is neither Jew or Gentile.
Galatians 3:28 �There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.
2 Corinthians 5:17 �Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
Galatians 6:15 �For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision, but a new creature.
A little more proof:
Ephesians 2:13 �But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ.
14 ��For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us;
15 �Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace;
dear folks ,, heres another good one.. tells us to take the word of GOD and combine with prayer.. doesnt say pray less. but yet says pray always..
ephesians 6:17-18 17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; 18 praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints-
