homelesschristian View Profile History	hyper grace is part of the great falling away apostasia 👎👎☠️☠️ Posted : 5 Jul, 2023 08:58 AM II Thessalonians 2:3 says this: “That day that is, the coming of Jesus Christ shall not come, except there come a falling away first.” Then in I Timothy 4:1, 2 Paul says this: “Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron.” Similarly, in Matthew 24 Jesus speaks of it in verses 11 and 12 in connection with false teaching. He says, “And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.” There are many other references: Acts 20:29-31; II Timothy 3:1-5; II Peter 2:1-3; and so on Hyper-grace preachers also claim the Holy Spirit will never convict Christians of their sin. Mature Christians should recognize this fallacy right away. Every disciple of Christ has felt the overwhelming conviction of the Holy Spirit when he or she has sinned. Jesus calls the Holy Spirit “the Spirit of Truth” (John 15:26). Truth, by its very definition, will not tolerate anything false. When the Spirit of Truth abides in a believing heart (1 Corinthians 6:19), He brings conviction about anything that is not truth. In summary, much of what the hyper-grace preachers teach is valid. We are indeed saved by grace, not our works (Ephesians 2:8–9). And God’s grace is marvelous, great, and free (1 Timothy 1:14). However, hyper-grace teaching is out of proportion to the rest of Scripture. Any time one doctrine is emphasized to the exclusion of the rest, we fall into error because we fail to “correctly handle” the Word (2 Timothy 2:15). Jesus was full of both “grace and truth” (John 1:14). The two are in delicate balance, and a tip to either side can result in a false gospel. We must always compare any new teaching with the “whole counsel of God” and learn to disregard anything that veers even slightly from the truth (1 John 4:1) Post Reply

Convincingly appeals to the correctly handling of scripture. 2. Applies common sense and professional textual interpretation of scripture cited 3. Correctly appeals to scriptural warnings 4. The hyper-grace teaching and doctrine is the devil's counterfeit for the real balanced truths of grace and truth according to Scripture and needs to be outrightly rejected. Gal 1:6-10 and 1 Jn 4:1-6 illustrate this. We are definitely in the end times before the rapture of the church. The western church needs to repent of this completely, including me and all of us as Born-again Christians. LORD HELP US!!! Post Reply
