Streetevangelist520^ View Profile History	Walking in Christ's holiness Posted : 15 Jun, 2023 06:12 PM The scripture passages i'm going to base this discussion on are Heb. 12:12-17 and 1 Pet. 1:12-21. Why are we to walk in Christ's holiness as Christians? Because it strengthens and validates our Christian witness and testimony. Failure to do so will only weaken it. But it is His holiness not ours, walking in our own righteousness and holiness only shows self-righteousness and we as Christians need to guard against both extremes and ask for the help of the Holy Spirit to maintain a biblical balance in this area. Christ paid for us an expensive price on the cross for us to be holy in His sight continually for without Him we are nothing. I pray that this teaching will motivate us to live holy lives before Jesus and people in Jesus' name. Post Reply
