What does joyfulness and thankfulness look like in the Christian life? It's realizing that it is not based on feelings but being thankful and joyful no matter what your situation according to the Word of God, making up your mind to be this way regardless of how you feel and how your circumstances are. I admit that i'm in some horrible circumstances currently but it doesn't stop me from praising the LORD regardless of how things are. Everything else may change but Jesus never changes, trust in Him completely. As Charles Stanley has said: "Obey God and leave the consequences up to Him." May our Christian witness be strengthened through our attitude of thankfulness and joyfulness. Romans 8:28 also talks about this too. I pray that this teaching will be a blessing to you in Jesus name and motivate you to be thankful no matter what, PRAISE THE LORD. Post Reply

I have a few books and watched him on TV at times for yrs. He passed away to be with the Lord in April at 90 yrs old . I heard people I know say, he believed you can live any kind of lifestyle and still go to heaven. But I know he preached against Sin. Shocked when I heard yrs ago he's Wife and he divorced. They couldn't make it work after 40 years .. I read about it all online. That just one more example of Divorce ! It can happen to ANYONE. Post Reply
