First, because of accountability for your doctrine to stay biblical and second because of support for your Christian walk and your ministries in the body of Christ and also keep one another accountable as stated in Hebrews 3:13. But any denominational/nondenominational church that doesn't adhere to scripture is hence being controlled by the devil. Take for example the Ag denomination has a headquarters that keeps all the churches accountable for their doctrine and ministries. We need to keep accountable to others and keep one another accountable for our doctrine and ministries is entirely scriptural. We all need boundaries. I pray that this teaching will inspire you to be accountable as it says in Proverbs 27:17 in Jesus name. Post Reply

This type of “iron sharpening iron” (Proverbs 27:17) is beneficial to all. If they disagree on style and form, however, it is fine for them to remain separate. This separation, though, does not lift the responsibility Christians have to love one another (1 John 4:11-12) and ultimately be united as one in Christ (John 17:21-22) Post Reply
