Streetevangelist520^ View Profile History	The Great Commission- Evangelism and Discipleship work together Posted : 23 May, 2023 11:26 AM The Great Comission is mentioned in Matthew 28:18-20, Mark 16:15-20, Luke 24:46-49, John 20:21 and Acts 1:8. We are called to evangelize and disciple people, both of them work together. Failure to do both will only cause you to fossilize in your faith and if you don't disciple people they won't grow and be ceceptible to false doctrine. But Titus 2:1-10 also states that men are to evangelize and disciple men and women with women to eliminate likeliness for falling into the devil's temptations so it doesn't give a bad name to Jesus and Christians. But God wants us to operate in the gifts mentioned in 1 cor 12-14, romans 12 and eph 4:1-16 to reach the lost and dying for Christ in our own way. Inward should lead to outward.
