True biblical unity is based upon scripture through repentance in faith in Jesus christ and forsaking all sin and false doctrine and living in holiness before Him. You don't have to be denominational or nondemonational to be a christian, faith in Jesus Christ is what saves you, not what label you are. False unbiblical unity causes divisions, compromises scripture and accepts all kinds of sin. Make sure that you stick to the simple gospel according to scripture and don't complicate and compromise it. Revelation 22:18-19 and Proverbs 30:5-6 illustrate this point, i pray this teaching will be a blessing and warning to you all in Jesus name. Post Reply

LittleDavid View Profile History	True biblical unity versus false unbiblical unity according to scripture Posted : 18 May, 2023 06:37 AM The question is: WHY isn’t there unity⁉️ By way of simple observation, here’s some ideas that prevent unity. 1. No one can have biblical unity without love for God and love of truth 2. Sin, rebellion and unbelief destroy biblical unity. Unity cannot coexist in a toxic environment characterized by sins like jealously and envy. (Read about Paul’s missionary experiences with jealous people). 3. Willful ignorance—stupid people will resist biblical unity (check out the many biblical examples especially Proverbs warnings against being willfully stupid) 4. Refusal to test one’s understanding or the refusal to test the biblical understanding of a teacher. (See Berean example) Post Reply
