It is noteworthy that forgiveness is dependent upon repentance, which is why we must repent if we expect to be forgiven of our past sins.Sep 27, 2019 Jan 4, 2022 — Repentance is not a work we do to earn salvation. No one can repent and come to God unless God pulls that person to Himself (John 6:44). According to the unanimous testimony of Scripture, repentance is absolutely necessary in order to be saved. What is repentance and how does it relate to salvation? First, it teaches that repentance is essential to salvation.
