The Gifts of the Spirit, speaking in tongues and the fruit of the spirit have either been avoided or abused. But scripture sets boundaries concerning these things in Romans 12, 1 Cor 12-14 and Eph 4:1-16. There are two major camps that are common in Christianity: 1. Cessationism- This view says that the Gifts of the Spirit and speaking in tongues passed away with the apostles and is no longer applicable for today. This view is unbiblical because it promotes legalism. 2. Sensationalism- This view says that you can have a free for all concerning the gifts of the spirit and speaking in tongues and twist the scriptures out of context and chase after these things. This view is also unbiblical because it promotes disorder. Like Skip Heitzig has said: "I am a fundamatic." We need to go according to scripture where it promotes order and spontanatety. The gifts of the spirit and speaking in tongues need to be tampered with the fruit of the spirit, christ's agape love and order. When you recieve your prayer language you need to keep it between you and God in your private devotional time, but in church services you need an intepreter. Order in churches is imperative according to scripture or the preaching of the gospel will be hindered. The gifts of the spirit are to edify the church and reach the lost and dying for Christ in your own way. Simple as that, it is not that complicated. God places these boundaries in scripture for our own good and so Christ can be glorified and not us. I pray this teaching will be a blessing to you all in Jesus name. Post Reply

That means real languages (tongues) are not being uttered. A real language (tongue) can be identified as a real language. False tongue talkers and those claiming to interpret have been tested in several different ways and have been repeatedly exposed as proven liars, frauds and fakes. Here’s some real life examples: 1.) A bilingual person speaks a foreign language and quotes the 23rd Psalm in a “tongue talking” meeting. A fake interpreter then rises to “interpret” the words spoken but doesn’t identify the language and DOES NOT interpret a single spoken word from that language into English‼️‼️‼️ Instead, the fake tongue interpreter mistakenly claims the person quoting the 23rd Psalm in a foreign language said something 👉👉other👈👈 than the 23rd Psalm‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️ 2.) Other examples include instances of tongue talker gibberish being recorded and analyzed by linguists. The results are conclusive. NO true language (tongue) is being spoken‼️ The tongue talker simply uttered nonsense consisting of a conglomeration of tiny bits and pieces (partial sounds of phonemes, morphemes and sounds) consisting merely of sounds that make up the tongue talkers own language (this is known as “gibberish”). Incoherent gbberish is NOT a tongue (language)‼️‼️‼️‼️ Please note: some tongue talkers were deceived into believing they can interpret and speak in tongues. Others are downright hucksters who know they are deceiving people ‼️ Please also note: tongue talkers have turned the KJV word “tongue” that simply means “language” in modern English into a mysterious gift. Baptism of the Holy Spirit is Biblical. Fir those who do not have it are understand it should seek God for understanding. Don't criticize all those who speak in Tongues as a gift. Being a cessasionist or sensationalist only plays into the devil's hands. Going to extreme is satanic and fleshly, it's not biblical at all. Post Reply
