π€π€ the bill withers hit song πΆ " lean on me ": good weight watchers advertisement jingle or about our understanding ββPosted : 2 May, 2023 05:11 PMProverbs 3:5-6 is a familiar passage to many: "Trust in the LORD with all your heart; and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct your paths." Verse 5 is a complementary pair of commands. We are told, positively, to trust the Lord and, negatively, not to trust our own understanding. Those two things are mutually exclusive. In other words, if we trust in the Lord, we cannot also depend upon our own ability to understand everything God is doing. |

π€π€ the bill withers hit song πΆ " lean on me ": good weight watchers advertisement jingle or about our understanding ββPosted : 7 May, 2023 01:09 PMAmen to that sister moonlight7. You can't trust everything you hear. If it's contrary to scripture, then it is of the devil.(see James 3:13-18) But if it's according to scripture, then it is of God. It is quite simple. I'm also glad that you mentioned we can only read the bible for ourselves, nobody else can do it for you(see Acts 17:10-15). God gave us a brain, use it for yourself. Nobody else can do your thinking for you. |
