Mr_Galen View Profile History	Proving God Exists Posted : 22 Feb, 2023 10:58 AM To prove God exists, we have to know one of the claims/proofs of God, that he knows the future and the past. “I am God, and there is none like me, declaring the end from the beginning and from ancient times things not yet done, saying, ‘My counsel shall stand, and I will accomplish all my purpose’” (Isaiah 46:9–10). How do we prove this? "he stretches out the heavens like a tent and lays the beams of his upper chambers on "/ "You covered it (the earth) with the watery depths as with a garment;" Psalm 104:1-7 Now if you remember things from science class, you will remember the Big Bang and the world wide ocean (which covered everything except some bits of land) which happened during the Hadean Eon, both of which happened before humans arrived. Yet the psalms were mostly written in the beginning of the iron age, before we had the technological advancement to know these things. So God knows our past. What about our future? Jesus says, "You will always have the poor among you, but you will not always have me.” John 12:8 Humanity, if it really wanted to, could justly and fairly divide the lands and the foods and energy so that all would be provided for. But they don't because without God they continually choose evil. The poor is both a testament to man's need for God and that his word about the future will remain true. Everyone who has tried to eliminate poverty has failed. Proving that God exists though isn't as great as great as a evangelism tool as some Christians think it is because people don't want to come to God because he doesn't exist but rather because the love sin. "And this is the judgment, that the Light has come into the world, and people loved the darkness rather than the Light; for their deeds were evil. For everyone who does evil hates the Light, and does not come to the Light, so that his deeds will not be exposed. But the one who practices the truth comes to the Light, so that his deeds will be revealed as having been performed in God.” John 3:19-21 So how do we show God to the world? What will be the most effective observable proof that God exists? By living a redeemed transformed life that is better than what the world has to offer. That's why having God's life, his zoe, is important to have not just for your own life but also for the lives of others. (John 10:10) Post Reply

All people know that God exists but they don’t like him to exist because they prefer godlessness and darkness instead of the light, as you mentioned earlier, so they try as best they can to suppress any knowledge of God. That’s why God doesn’t believe in atheists. Atheists try to convince us they don’t believe in God. I’ve been down that road myself, so I know how the game is played. I once hated God because he didn’t do what I asked and he infringed on my “freedom” to sin. But l couldn’t disprove him so I tried to convince people I didn’t believe in God. The fact is, I just didn’t want to believe but couldn’t shake the reality of God. So I just told people he didn’t exist. I tried to be as convincingly as I could. Post Reply

This is because God has made his existence very clear. So clear, it would take only a fool to deny the existence of God. Psalm 14:1 For the director of music. Of David.
