The Great Disappointment in the Millerite movement was the reaction that followed Baptist preacher William Miller's proclamations that Jesus Christ would return to the Earth by 1844, what he called the Advent. His study of the Daniel 8 prophecy during the Second Great Awakening led him to the conclusion that Daniel's "cleansing of the sanctuary" was cleansing of the world from sin when Christ would come, and he and many others prepared, but October 22, 1844 came, and they were disappointed.[1][2][3][4]* These events paved the way for the Adventists who formed the Seventh-day Adventist Church. They contended that what had happened on October 22 was not Jesus' return, as Miller had thought, but the start of Jesus' final work of atonement, the cleansing in the heavenly sanctuary, leading up to the Second Coming.[1][2][3][4]* *footnotes forth coming Post Reply

Because you don't know the scriptures, all that you can do is just following false people that also don't know the completely truth, just to accused Ellen White. Now, my question: How many times did the 7 years tribulation and the rapture theory has put dates? Till today they are putting dates from Jesus to come in secret and rapture the church away. And my questions is where are they going in secret, and in the mean time has started the 7 year tribulation, but Jesus is on earth also!! I can not understand how this people cannot see these ridiculous thinking of the future!! To much Hollywood fantasy fictions!! Post Reply
