While the masses believe in the trinity doctrine and think that the Holy Spirit is a separate being from the Father and Son, the Bible clearly and simply reveals that the Holy Spirit is in fact something that was GIVEN to Jesus from the Father and then literally 'poured out' upon God's people. John 16:7: John 7:38-39 So we can clearly see in these two verses that Jesus had to go back to heaven to be glorified before the Holy Spirit could be sent. Now pay carefully attention to the following verses, as they reveal what the Holy Spirit is, and prove beyond doubt that the Holy Spirit is NOT a literal being separate from the Father and Son like the trinity teaches, but in fact God's own Spirit. Hebrews 1:8-9; Acts 2:33; John 20:19-22 NOTE: Jesus is called 'God' in Hebrews 1, because He is the SON of God, and shares the same nature as the Father, ie, Jesus is God because His Father is God. Just like I am human and my son is also human. Can you see this amazing truth friend? Jesus had to go back to heaven first before the Holy Spirit could be 'sent'. Then when in heaven, Jesus was glorified by the Father with the 'anointing of oil' (Spirit). So God GAVE His Son the promise - the anointing of His Holy Spirit, which then was 'poured out' upon God's people. "The Father gave His Spirit without measure to His Son". (E.White, RH, November 5, 1908) "ALL things Christ received from God, but He took to give." (E.White, Desire of Ages, p. 21) "A light would come from the Father to the Son and from the Son to the praying company. Then I saw an exceeding bright light come from the Father to the Son, and from the Son it waved over the people before the throne." (E.White, Early Writings, p. 55) What does this prove? 1. The Holy Spirit comes from the Father, as He is the source of all things (1 Corinthians 8:6). 2. The Holy Spirit is given to Jesus Christ the Son of God. 3. The Holy Spirit cannot be a separate being from the Father and the Son, because God gives Jesus the Spirit and then Jesus pours out that Spirit like flowing rivers onto His people. Some view the Holy Spirit as a mystical force. Others see the Holy Spirit as an impersonal power that God makes available to followers of Christ. What does the Bible say about the identity of the Holy Spirit? Simply put, the Bible declares that the Holy Spirit is God. The Bible also tells us that the Holy Spirit is a divine person, a being with a mind, emotions, and a will. The fact that the Holy Spirit is God is clearly seen in many Scriptures, including Acts 5:3-4. In these verses Peter confronts Ananias as to why he lied to the Holy Spirit and tells him that he had “not lied to men but to God.” It is a clear declaration that lying to the Holy Spirit is lying to God. We can also know that the Holy Spirit is God because He possesses the characteristics of God. For example, His omnipresence is seen in Psalm 139:7-8, “Where can I go from your Spirit? Where can I flee from your presence? If I go up to the heavens, you are there; if I make my bed in the depths, you are there.” Then in 1 Corinthians 2:10-11, we see the characteristic of omniscience in the Holy Spirit. “These are the things God has revealed to us by his Spirit. The Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God. For who knows a person’s thoughts except their own spirit within them? In the same way no one knows the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God.” We can know that the Holy Spirit is indeed a divine person because He possesses a mind, emotions, and a will. The Holy Spirit thinks and knows (1 Corinthians 2:10). The Holy Spirit can be grieved (Ephesians 4:30). The Spirit intercedes for us (Romans 8:26-27). He makes decisions according to His will (1 Corinthians 12:7-11). The Holy Spirit is God, the third Person of the Trinity. As God, the Holy Spirit can truly function as the Comforter and Counselor that Jesus promised He would be (John 14:16, 26, 15:26). Post Reply

Don't you see if you just open the chapters and the verses, you don't need nobody to explain you nothing!! Just follow the Word of God. The trinity doctrine is from the Catholic Church. If you are not a member of the Catholic Church, then give them their teachings against the Bible, and begin to study the Bible again. Without no other teachers. Just you and Jesus Christ and the apostles. Post Reply

Don't you see if you just open the chapters and the verses, you don't need nobody to explain you nothing!! Just follow the Word of God. The trinity doctrine is from the Catholic Church. If you are not a member of the Catholic Church, then give them their teachings against the Bible, and begin to study the Bible again. Without no other teachers. The Bible is NOT about how people see, and think what they see is true. What is true, is what is written in the Bible. The Bible don't need to body to interpreted what is written. The problem is when we have one piece of view wrong, and keep building upon it, then the whole building will fall. Moon7 do you believe what is written in the Bible? If it is yes! I am going to write another piece of the Holy Spirit. Please just used only your Bible. Do you have seen something that I wrote is not written in the Bible? I compare scripture with scripture!! And also from those that are completely living what the Bible says. Not what man says by putting things that isn't written in the Bible.
