Preterist definition

The term preterism comes from the Latin praeter, which Webster's 1913 dictionary lists as a prefix denoting that something is "past" or "beyond". Adherents of preterism are commonly known as preterists. Preterism teaches that either all (full preterism) or a majority (partial preterism) of the Olivet discourse had come to pass by AD 70.

Why preterism is false?

Preterism teaches that Christ has already returned (spiritually) and, in its extreme form, that He will never return again bodily. However, the divine declaration in Acts 1:11, “This same Jesus…will so come in like manner as you saw Him go into heaven,” contradicts both Partial and Full Preterism. The teaching then is false.

Preterism debunked with one section of Scripture.

Hosea 5 verses 14-15

14For I am like a lion to Ephraim and like a young lion to the house of Judah.

I, even I, will tear them to pieces and then go away. I will carry them off where no one can rescue them.

15 Then I will return to My place until they admit their guilt and seek My face; in their affliction they will earnestly seek Me.”

In order for someone to RETURN to their place, first that person has to have left in order to return.

When did YHWH leave His place, He did not,Yeshua is the one that left His place outside of time, in order to become a man in time, to reveal to man who the GOD of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob is outside of time.
