What does the Bible say about religious holidays and customs?
God designated the holy days the Israelites were to observe—days with deep significance to Him. “The feasts of the LORD, which you shall proclaim to be holy convocations, these are My feasts,” He told them (Leviticus 23:2).
He also expressly forbade them from adopting the religious teachings and traditions of other nations.
“Take heed to yourself that you are not ensnared to follow them, after they are destroyed from before you, and that you do not inquire after their gods, saying, ‘How did these nations serve their gods? I also will do likewise.’ You shall not worship the LORD your God in that way; for every abomination to the LORD which He hates they have done to their gods” (Deuteronomy 12:30-32).
Yet His people repeatedly ignored Him and ran after other gods. Centuries later God told Israel, “Your New Moons and your appointed feasts My soul hates” (Isaiah 1:14).
“And he said unto them, Full well ye reject the commandment of God, that ye may keep your own tradition.” (Mark 7:9)
“Beware lest anyone cheat you through philosophy and empty deceit, according to the tradition of men, according to the basic principles of the world, and not according to Christ” (Colossians 2:8).
It is not a sin to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ at Easter. After all, his resurrection is a cause of great rejoicing and celebration. It is our hope for eternal life (1 Corinthians 15:12-26). God is pleased to see his people worshipping Jesus and commemorating this event that is so important for their salvation.

Celebrating Holiday a sin? - Christian Forums

Feb 10, 2011 · The Feast of the Annunciation is, to this day, still celebrated on the 25th of March. Easter has no pagan origins. The word "Easter" is unique among English and German speaking people, the traditional word is "Pascha" and is the Greek form of the Hebrew "Pesach", that is, Passover.
Every pagan religion follows the same pattern, father mother son.
The biblical:
Father (male)
Son (male)
Holy Spirit
Though in Christianity you don't worship the Holy Spirit, you worship the Father via the Son. Thats the main difference between polytheism and monotheism
In 1 Cor. 1:9 it says, “God is faithful, through whom you were called into fellowship with His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.” The word “fellowship” is the Greek word koinonia which is also translated as the word “communion.” 1 Cor. 1:9 says that we are to have an intimate fellowship with Jesus. That is fine. But, how can we have fellowship with someone with whom we never talk? Therefore, this verse can also be used to support the idea of praying to Jesus.
If it is okay to pray to the Father, and the Son, is it alright to pray to the Holy Spirit? The answer would be yes because the Holy Spirit is also God and of course prayer is a form of worship too ❗❗ Nevertheless, we never see an instance in the Bible where anyone prays to the Holy Spirit. Why is that? The answer is that the Holy Spirit does not bear witness of Himself. He bears witness of the Son (John 15:26). But still, we can pray to the Spirit because we are also called into fellowship with the Spirit. 2 Cor. 13:14 says, “The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit, be with you all.”
Finally, we can simply pray to God. We can address God, the Lord, in our prayers, and as we feel led, address the members of the Trinity.
