And, if you think about it, the annihilation of the soul is found in nonbiblical sources as well. So, if the conditionalist wants to be consistent, then he must condemn his own view as pagan

context of Luke 16:19-31 says…
Luke is writing to Theophilus (Luke 1:3) and provides a narrative of the events of the life of Christ. Luke arranges the parables of Luke 15 and 16 in a specific way. He mentions where Jesus speaks of the salvation of unbelievers in the parables of the Lost Sheep (Luke 15:1-7) and Lost Coin (Luke 15:8-10). He then gives us the parable of the Prodigal Son (Luke 15:11-32) which is about being lost, being found, forgiveness, and the love of God. Most probably, the older Son represents the Jews (Luke 15:31) which is relevant to Jesus addressing the Pharisees in (Luke 16:14-18). The Unrighteous Steward (Luke 16:1-13) is an appeal to understand the true nature of God (the Steward trusted in the goodness of the Landowner which is why he was praised). Jesus definitely connects this parable to the afterlife since he mentions eternal dwellings (Luke 16:9). Jesus mentions the unrighteousness of the Pharisees which will affect their future dwellings (Luke 16:14-18). Then, Jesus speaks of the Rich Man and Lazarus along with the afterlife-consequences of their time on earth. Isn’t this clear that the context of Luke’s writings is not referencing pagan ideas, but the the thematically consistent words of Christ instead ❓❓

Second, the story of the rich man and Lazarus uses the actual name of a person. Such specificity would set it apart from ordinary parables, in which the characters are not named.

Why are false teachers so afraid of eternal torment in hell
Specifically, why does the Mattel “Elder” TeddyBug, who is also a false teacher, waste so much time writing lengthy nonsensical posts trying to explain a way eternal torments⁉️
TeddyBug, you just can’t wish real stuff away‼️
Could the reason, false teachers are so adverse and fearful of eternal torments, be the result of troubled consciences over burdened with guilt⁉️⁉️

There is no words 'eternal' and 'torment' used together in the Bible, so why assume so? What's your point other than given 'labels' made up by sinful men as yourself!

There is no word called 'annihilationism' in the Bible, so why assume so? What's your point other than given 'labels' made up by sinful men as yourself!

First of all readers, CULTISTrsvp does not even know what a 'soul' is! Adam became a living 'soul' >>>not received<<< a 'soul' because Adam was SIMPLY made a unique PERSON as we all are and even animals are uniquely made! The Bible says animals are also 'souls' (Rev. 16:3)
Note Adam when he was created - Genesis 2:7 'And Father YHWH >>>formed man of the dust of the ground<<<, and breathed (by His Holy Spirit) into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.' (NOT received a soul!)
Note Adam did NOT receive a 'soul' but become one! He was simply a created form/soul upon the ground, made from the ground, dead yet, until Father YHWH (The ONE and only Creator, for there is NO OTHER!) breathed His set apart Holy Spirit into Adam, THEN Adam became a LIVING SOUL/UNIQUE CREATURE and or PERSON!!! So what he really means is 'equal Grace justice' which is eternal life freely given to those who have FAITH, the righteous and then the 'equal justice' which is 'eternal life' for the wicked in a one day made lake of fire!
So according to CULTISTrsvp both the 'equal justice' of the always sinning wicked and the 'equal Grace' of the righteous NONE sinning will both eat of the tree of life??????? LMBO!
