Is All sin equal

Should people stop saying, All sin is equal?

Could this be a dangerous teaching?

Is All sin equal according to Biblical teaching?

Wasn't it in Matthew that

Cities who heard the gospel and rejected the message would receive a more intense judgement than Sodom. and Gomorrah ?

Please post scriptures on this Discussion topic.

blasphemy of the holy spirit is the chieftain of sins and is understood within its biblical context as stating or believing that Jesus did His miracles by the power of the devil (Matt. 12:22-32) (Mark 3:28-30) some people assert that the blasphemy of the holy spirit is the unforgivable unpardonable sin but it's not

1st Timothy 1:13

even though I was once a blasphemer and a persecutor and a violent man I was shown mercy because I acted in ignorance and unbelief

the unforgivable sin is rejecting christ’s death on the cross for the forgiveness of sin and the holy spirit’s offer of salvation

Matthew 12:31

Therefore I say to you,, any sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven people, but blasphemy against the Spirit shall not be forgiven.

💡💡💡💡💡💡👉👉👉👉👉👉Blasphemy against the Holy Spirit has to do with accusing Jesus Christ of being demon-possessed instead of Spirit-filled. This particular type of blasphemy cannot be duplicated today. The Pharisees were in a unique moment in history: they had the Law and the Prophets, they had the Holy Spirit stirring their hearts, they had the Son of God Himself standing right in front of them, and they saw with their own eyes the miracles He did. Never before in the history of the world (and never since) had so much divine light been granted to men; if anyone should have recognized Jesus for who He was, it was the Pharisees. Yet they chose defiance. They purposely attributed the work of the Spirit to the devil, even though they knew the truth and had the proof. Jesus declared their willful blindness to be unpardonable. Their blasphemy against the Holy Spirit was their final rejection of God’s grace. They had set their course, and God was going to let them sail into perdition unhindered.

Jesus told the crowd that the Pharisees’ blasphemy against the Holy Spirit “will not be forgiven, either in this age or in the age to come” (Matthew 12:32). This is another way of saying that their sin would never be forgiven, ever. Not now, not in eternity. As Mark 3:29 puts it, “They are guilty of an eternal sin.”

The immediate result of the Pharisees’ public rejection of Christ (and God’s rejection of them) is seen in the next chapter. Jesus, for the first time, “told them many things in parables” (Matthew 13:3; cf. Mark 4:2). The disciples were puzzled at Jesus’ change of teaching method, and Jesus explained His use of parables: “Because the knowledge of the secrets of the kingdom of heaven has been given to you, but not to them. . . . Though seeing, they do not see; though hearing, they do not hear or understand” (Matthew 13:11, 13). Jesus began to veil the truth with parables and metaphors as a direct result of the Jewish leaders’ official denunciation of Him.

💡💡💡💡💡💡👉👉👉👉👉👉Again, the blasphemy of the Holy Spirit cannot be repeated today, although some people try. Jesus Christ is not on earth—He is seated at the right hand of God. No one can personally witness Jesus performing a miracle and then attribute that power to Satan instead of the Spirit.

The unpardonable sin today is the state of continued unbelief. The Spirit currently convicts the unsaved world of sin, righteousness, and judgment (John 16:8). To resist that conviction and willfully remain unrepentant is to “blaspheme” the Spirit. There is no pardon, either in this age or in the age to come, for a person who rejects the Spirit’s promptings to trust in Jesus Christ and then dies in unbelief. The love of God is evident: “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life” (John 3:16). And the choice is clear: “Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, but whoever rejects the Son will not see life, for God’s wrath remains on him” (John 3:36).

Well there you have it Mooncakes, you post a website that refutes what CULTISTrsvp states about - 'Therefore I say to you,, >>>any sin and blasphemy<<< shall be forgiven people, but blasphemy against the Spirit (denying it!) shall not be forgiven.' (Matthew 12:31).

So then CULTISTrsvp states - 'read Matthew 12 in context it doesn't apply to us today' but CULTISTrsvp cannot READ context of Scripture of the entire BIBLE as USUAL because it goes against his agenda of what the purpose is in THE Father's very own set apart Holy Spirit (that is NOT another 'god person' as CULTISTrsvp WRONGLY calls the Father's very own set apart Holy Spirit! ) in communication with ALL of Father YHWH's people, as long as they CONTINUE to OBEY His Torah Law which of course is His government they 'hear' His Spirit thru His WORD the Bible!

Notice dear readers how he contradicts himself when at one point CULTISTrsvp states - 'Jesus told the crowd that the Pharisees’ blasphemy (unpardonable sin) against the Holy Spirit “will not be forgiven, either in this age or in the age to come” (Matthew 12:32). '

But then CULTISTrsvp states - 'The unpardonable sin today is the state of continued unbelief. The Spirit currently convicts the unsaved world of sin, righteousness, and judgment (John 16:8). To resist that conviction and willfully remain unrepentant is to “blaspheme” the Spirit. There is no pardon, either >>>in this age<<< or in >>>the age to come<<<.....'

So readers did you catch it? It all >>>applied<<< then in the past just as it >>>applies<<< TODAY! CULTISTrsvp contradicts himself by his CULT interpretation in what was 'that age' (back then) then to this 'age to come' TODAY! The context is >'in this age'< meaning then the Pharisees were rejecting THEN that the Father was NOT there before them in the flesh, His WORD made flesh, the very EVERLASTING FATHER and YHWH ALMIGHTY before them, NOW HUMAN (John 1 and Isaiah 9:6!) !!! And so it is TODAY, >'the age to come'< that MANY will reject that the Messiah Yah'shua IS IS IS Father YHWH that came in HUMAN flesh, planted in a virgin woman that stayed a virgin until the birth of the Messiah and or that PART of the Father (I'am that I'am) YHWH made flesh!

Yah'shua Messiah said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, >>>I am<<< (that I am!).

So if CULTISTrsvp and tinyfaithdavid >>>continue<<< to blasphemy (unpardonable sin) against the 'voice' (thru the Scriptures) to them from the Father's very own Holy Spirit in how He communicates with us TODAY, then they will have committed the unpardonable sin because they have made up their minds, that just like the Pharisees of old, they too claim that the Father has NOT already been to this earth, HIS WORD in human flesh , not only to die for us sinners while we were yet sinners but to show us how to live a sin free life (born again, all things new! ) afterwards, all this side of heaven in dying to the OLD MAN of sin, that sinful nature because we are also 'born' in the 'likeness' of sinful flesh!

Let alone the other sins they proudly commit daily/weekly like they admit on this forum like running stop signs (also breaking the 7th day Sabbath!) says tinyfaithdavid or CULTISTrsvp claiming he sins in his sleep (also breaking the 7th day Sabbath and eating ABOMINATIONS fron his PAGAN favorite grocery store!)! YICKS!

But is all sin equal??? Of course it is, it all ends in ETERNAL DEATH (no NOT 'eternal torment' that CULTISTrsvp and tinyfaithdavid claim that the Father never paid that price for sin , by His WORD made flesh but CLEARLY DEATH He paid the price for sin!) . Its soooo simple that there is ONLY two judgments, ONE to ETERNAL DEATH to those that do not respond to the Father's very own Holy Spirit (unpardonable sin) and thru His WORD the Bible and TWO to those who do (works) by continual obedience to His WORD the Bible unto ETERNAL LIFE (continue to respond to the Father's set apart Holy Spirit!) after the initial free gift of being 'saved' (belief that they were once sinners! Initial response to His Holy Spirit!) from the penalty of DEATH to those that originally broke His Torah Law!

" So then CULTISTrsvp states - 'read Matthew 12 in context it doesn't apply to us today' but CULTISTrsvp cannot READ context of Scripture of the entire BIBLE as USUAL " -- teddy bugs

😂😂😂😂😂😂 wanna hear something really hilarious people of God ❓❓ teddy bugs believes that are past sins of blasphemy cannot be forgiven so that means we carry that with us for all of eternity there's no pardon

That means that if teddy bugs has committed blasphemy against God that he cannot declare himself a sinless perfectionist 🚫🚫

I bet you dollars to donuts people of God he did just like the rest of us prior to our salvation 🙂😉

Why do false teachers, like the TeddyBug, fear eternal punishment of hell fire⁉️⁉️

The answer is simple, false teachers would rather deny the torments of hell, than confess the reality of their sinful false worship.

Through continuous sin, false teachers deaden their conscience so that it no longer warns against false worship and false teaching.

However, false teachers seem, as it where, to intuit a psychological perplexity over the reality of eternal suffering in hell. So, rather than confess their sin, they begin making up false teachings that seek to “eliminate” the concept of an eternal hell in which sinners will suffer forever throughout eternity!

Tragically, false teachers, like the TeddyBug, are willfully blinded spiritually because of ignorance that is in them caused by their own deceits.

Worse yet, false teachers appear to lack assurance of salvation from God’s coming wrath!! That’s another reason to wish away hell

Nevertheless, false teachers seem to know that God will subject them to the severest of judgments
