Matthew traces the genealogy from Jesus to Abraham. Luke traces the genealogy from Jesus to Adam 🤔🤔 So at first glance it seems like a contradiction so how can we solve this puzzle ❓❓ 🙂🙂👍🎂 piece of cake ❗❗ Using the orthodox biblical term called the hypostatic Union Hypostatic Union is the union of the two natures (Divine and human) in the person of Jesus. Jesus is God in flesh (John 1:1, 14, 10:30-33, 20:28, Phil. 2:5-8, Heb. 1:8). He is fully God and fully man (Col. 2:9), thus, He has two natures: God and man. He is not half God and half man. He is 100% God and 100% man. He never lost His divinity. He continued to exist as God when He became a man and added human nature to Himself (Phil. 2:5-11). Therefore, there is a “union in one person of a full human nature and fully divine nature.” Right now in Heaven, there is a man, Jesus, who is our Mediator between us and God the Father (1 Tim. 2:5) Here is some further examples of the hypostatic Union Jesus as God He is worshipped (Matt. 2:2, 11, 14:33 All the fullness of deity dwells in Him (Col. 2:9) Jesus as Man He grew in wisdom (Luke 2:52) He has a body of flesh and bones (Luke 24:39) 🙂🙂👍 So again it's easy to see without father, without mother, without genealogy, having neither beginning of days nor end of life, but made like the Son of God means that Melchizedek is spirit Yet the accounts in Luke and Matthew certainly demonstrate his physical existence Post Reply

It could never be said of a priest according to the order of Aaron, none of whom had the power of an endless life and each of whom served a limited term as priests - limited to their own life-span. Matthew 27:1 says: When morning came, all the chief priests and elders of the people plotted against Jesus to put Him to death. Among those who conspired to put Jesus to death, there were priests of the order of Aaron. But Jesus by the power of an endless life, Jesus showed that His priesthood was superior, when He triumphed over death! Post Reply
