LittleDavid View Profile History	🙂💯👍 so have you heard about pastor cliff ❓❓ Posted : 18 Jan, 2022 05:00 PM We need more like Cliff who is willing to expose and undermine the false arguments often posed by atheists and skeptics AND EVEN by some false “theologians”‼️‼️ It would seem bad arguments like these go unchallenged because lazy ignorant pastors can’t address them—or just plain WON’T‼️‼️ But worse yet, a growing number of “Christians” have actually rejected biblical certainty—instead adopting a modernist approach to theology (abandoning confidence in God’s truth and transferring confidence in a rationalist “truth”) and/or they’ve regressed even further by embracing a postmodernist theology, (basically skepticism and doubt run amuck). Actually the man made title takes the place of Messiah, as He is called CHIEF SHEPHERD, 1 Peter 5 verses 1-4 1 As a fellow elder, a witness of Christ’s sufferings, and a partaker of the glory to be revealed, I appeal to the eldersa among you: 2 Be shepherds of God’s flock that is among you, watching over themb not out of compulsion, but because it is God’s will;c not out of greed, but out of eagerness; 3 not lording it over those entrusted to you, but being examples to the flock. 4 And when the Chief Shepherd appears, you will receive the crown of glory that will never fade away. It has come into existence as the church has grown and required additional staff. The title of senior pastor refers to the person who primarily leads the church, generally doing the majority of the preaching and teaching in the pulpit at the services and overseeing the administration of the church. Some larger churches may even have an executive pastor who oversees the day-to-day operation of the church, while the senior pastor then would be responsible for working with the church board, along with the preaching, teaching, and counseling ministries that go with the role of pastor. Every church, whether large or small, needs a pastor who will shepherd, lead, feed, and guide the people to spiritual growth and service for the Lord Jesus. In larger churches, a senior pastor often shepherds the pastoral team in addition to shepherding the congregation. As a result, a senior pastor should be held to an even higher standard of agreement to 1 Timothy 3:1-13 and Titus 1:6-9 than other pastoral roles Post Reply

Doing that lifts the man to the Messiahs position, thus bringing the Messiah under the man. Messiah says the HE and HE alone is the good SHEPHERD/PASTOR, He leaves no room for any person to attain to that position but Himself. Post Reply
