Most Christians who have read the Revelation know very little about the soon-coming two prophets because very little is said about them in the Bible. In this article you will learn much more about them than “meets the eye” in Revelation 11 and the brief mention of them in Zechariah 4.
First, you need to understand that the basic ministry of prophets includes foretelling and forthtelling. It is likely that a God-sent New Testament prophet will do more of the latter than the former. Probably 99% of the prophesying of the so-called Christian prophets today (and 100% of the non-Christian variety) is not of the Holy Spirit.
The forthtelling part of the prophetic ministry for the New Testament prophet is simply the prophet telling God’s apostate people they need to repent of their worldliness, lack of unconditional love for God (with all their heart, soul, mind and strength) and disobedience to many of the clear commands of the New Testament. In other words, a prophet is a mouthpiece for God who speaks to Christians. This is in contradistinction to evangelists whose ministry and message is to the unsaved, which is the true Gospel that includes the need to repent for the forgiveness of their sins and salvation from the Lake of Fire.
The primary message of the two prophets will be for true Christians to obey Jesus Christ and not take the Mark of the Beast, and if they do they will forfeit their salvation and be cast into the Lake of Fire.
Most Christians on earth are delusional because they refuse to love the Truth, and two of the lies they embrace are the teachings of unconditional eternal security and the pre-tribulation rapture. True Christians are eternally secure, and no one can snatch them out of Jesus’ hand, but they can forfeit their salvation by choosing to take the Mark of the Beast or, for example, by refusing to repent of their lukewarmness toward Jesus like those brethren in Laodicea who were in Jesus but whom He would vomit out if they did not repent and turn to Him wholeheartedly.
The truth is, the rapture will not occur until the last day of the Great Tribulation when Jesus returns and destroys with fire the earth, the universe and heaven. On that day, after the relatively few remaining Christians are raptured, He will change into spiritual bodies the physical ex-bodies of all the saved and the unsaved and resurrect them to stand before Him to be judged. Christians will be judged for the receiving and losing of eternal rewards, and the unsaved will be judged for their degree of eternal punishment in the Lake of Fire.
When the Great Tribulation begins, the fullness of the Gentiles will have come in, and there will be no more Gentiles saved. The only ones who will be saved during the Great Tribulation will be the 144,000 elect Jews.
There is not even a hint in the entire Book of Revelation that anyone else will be saved, and nothing is said or implied that the 144,000 Jews will be evangelists. These 144,000 will be the remnant of all Israel that will be saved (Romans 9:27; 11:26). After the Great White Throne Judgment, with all the sheep on Jesus’ right and all the goats on His left, many unsaved Jews and billions of unsaved Gentiles will be cast into the Lake of Fire.
Contrary to popular teaching, the Great Tribulation will not be seven years long, but rather three and a half. For the sake of the elect, those days have been shortened, otherwise no one would survive the worst time the world has ever seen.
The two prophets mentioned in the Revelation are also referred to by Jesus as His two witnesses, the two olive trees and the two lampstands. In Zechariah 4:14 the two prophets are referred to as the two anointed ones.
These two prophets and the monobeing Antichrist who pretends to be a Jew, and the monobeing False Prophet who probably will be the Pope in office at the beginning of the Great Tribulation, are alive and well on earth now.
These two prophets are Christian men who have been given the gift of prophecy, who became true disciples of Jesus by meeting His three conditions to love Him with all their heart, soul, mind and strength, to take up their cross of inevitable suffering and persecution for having a close walk with Jesus, and to give up all their possessions.
These two prophets have been obedient enough to Jesus to be filled and anointed with the Holy Spirit (like Jesus, Paul and Timothy).
They will wear sackcloth, which is a garment of loose-fitting, dark-colored, course cloth made from goat’s hair.
They, as with others who do not take the Mark, will not be able to buy tickets for transportation in taxis, buses, trains, airplanes or ships. However, these supernaturally empowered prophets will be instantly transported to any place on earth, just as Philip was transported more than 20 miles after he ministered to the Ethiopian eunuch, and as Jesus and the twelve disciples and the boat in which they were traveling was instantly teleported several miles from the middle of the Sea of Galilee to Capernaum, as the apostle Paul was teleported to heaven and back, and as I was instantly teleported several million miles between heaven and earth on 8/16/1980 when Jesus showed me a clear vision of the earth below me engulfed in flames and clearly told me, “The world is coming to an end” after which I instantly returned to earth in Atlanta, Georgia. (Incidentally, the earth engulfed in flames and the end of the world was foretold 2,000 years ago by the apostle Peter and recorded in 2 Peter 3:10-12.) “Surely the Sovereign Lord does nothing [significant] without revealing His plan to His servants the prophets” (Amos 3:7).
“The end of all things is near” (1 Peter 4:7).
The speed of teleportation is immeasurably faster than the speed of light, and the angels and demons travel in this manner. An angel can be dispatched from heaven to earth by Jesus, and he arrives instantly unless the Lord allows him to be detained as Gabriel was by the demonic prince of Persia.
These two prophets will be the most powerful, Christ-like Christians who ever lived. They will be more powerful than Satan, who gives all his power and authority to the Antichrist, and more powerful than the Antichrist who also will have been given all the power and authority of the ten monobeing rulers of the earth. Even with all of this power given to the Antichrist, he still will not be able to harm or kill the two prophets until Jesus allows him to after the completion of their 42-month ministry.
Jesus will give these two prophets the supernatural power to, and they “must,” kill with fire that flows from their mouth anyone who even tries to harm them. “Do not touch My anointed ones, and do My prophets no harm” (1 Chronicles 16:22; Psalm 105:15).
They will have power to shut up the skies and prevent any rain during their three-and-a-half-year ministry. They will have power to turn the waters into blood and to strike the earth with every plague, as often as they desire.
These two prophets will “torment” those who dwell on the earth by preaching the Truth. Even Christians, who refuse to love the Truth, will be mentally tormented with the truth that the rapture will not be until the last day of the most terrible time the earth has ever seen. And the main reason for this incomparably horrific 42 months is because of the unprecedented apostasy of true Christians. Christians will be tested like never before, and many true Christians will be overwhelmed and take the Mark of the monobeing Antichrist, and thereby forfeit their salvation.
In fact, the only reason given for Jesus allowing Satan and the ten rulers on earth to give all their power to the Antichrist is so he can overcome true Christians who have never been obedient enough to Jesus to be filled with the Holy Spirit and who have never loved the Truth enough to meet His three conditions to become His disciple, i.e., learner. Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. He is the Truth personified.
To reject scriptural truth is tantamount to rejecting Jesus. "I kept looking, and that horn [the Antichrist] was waging war with the saints and overpowering them...He will...wear down the saints...for [3 1/2 years]." "It was also given [by Jesus Christ] to him [the Antichrist] to make war with the saints and to overcome them." (Daniel 7:21, 25; Revelation 13:7; 3:5, 12, 21; 21:7).
True Christians refusing to love the Truth is part of the reason why Jesus sent the “strong delusion” (KJV) so that they would believe the Lie, i.e., the Antichrist. The literal Greek means “an activity of error.” Jesus has already allowed the elite nonhuman monobeings to take control of the earth (under His sovereign hand), and because they are habitual liars, imposters and predators of humans and they look exactly like humans (as do angels, demons and Nephilim), the vast majority of humanity, including most true Christians, have been deluded. All of this is the incredibly high price to pay for refusing to love the Truth (Jesus), just as the true Christians in the church at Ephesus who had left their first Love (Jesus). Jesus rebuked and warned them that if they did not repent He would remove their Lampstand, which was their Source of Light, which was Jesus Himself, and thereby forfeit their salvation.
At the end of their ministry, Jesus will allow the Antichrist to kill the body of both of the prophets. Those who dwell on the earth will rejoice and celebrate for three and a half days as the dead bodies lie in the street in Jerusalem. Then, their dead bodies will be resurrected (before everyone else) and called up to heaven in a cloud, just as Jesus did when He ascended to heaven.
These two prophets are not angels, and they are not Elijah or Moses or Enoch, they are men who have repented of their sins and been saved the same way as any other Christian.
Many true Christians, who are deluded about the pre-tribulation rapture, after they realize they are in the Great Tribulation, will think Jesus forsook them. Many Christians will take the Mark of the Beast because they believe the lie that they cannot forfeit their salvation. The main ministry of these two holy, mighty men of God will be to warn true Christians not to take the Mark of the Beast.
If you meet one of these two prophets before or during the Great Tribulation, I suggest you carefully listen to his teaching and take heed to what he says. “Anyone who receives a prophet because he is a prophet will receive a prophet’s reward” (Matthew 10:41).
Don’t be like the large crowd of disciples who abandoned Jesus when they thought His teaching had become too hard (John 6:66), and don’t be like the eleven disciples who forsook Jesus when He was arrested (Matthew 26:56).
“He who loves his life will lose it” (John 12:25).
Dom_64! A quick question for you about this 'article' part quoted below before I hit the rack for bed.....Is this Harry Bethel claiming this happened to him personally???
'as I was instantly teleported several million miles between heaven and earth on 8/16/1980 when Jesus showed me a clear vision of the earth below me engulfed in flames and clearly told me, “The world is coming to an end” after which I instantly returned to earth in Atlanta, Georgia. '

🤔🤔 halo harry is missing a couple of things here
ONE LAST WAR ❗❗
Gog and Magog,’ that surround and threaten the ‘saints,’ as mentioned in Revelation 20:7-8
“And when the thousand years are finished, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison, and shall come forth to deceive the nations which are in the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to the war: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea. And they went up over the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down out of heaven, and devoured them” (Revelation 20:7-9
therefore, we see the need for the Holy Spirit to work during the Millennium in the lives of unbelievers. Thus He will be at work on this earth until the time in which it will exist no longer
Obviously we know this to be true as we see her in
Zachariah 14:17
If any of the peoples of the earth do not go up to Jerusalem to worship the King, the LORD Almighty, they will have no rain ---------
true Christians with new bodies that have changed from the corruptible into the incorruptible won't have a problem coming to Jerusalem and worshiping Christ unbelievers would
So obviously salvation is still available during the 1000 year millennial reign
As far as the beam me up scotty stuff in 1980 🛸 mr spock finds it a bit illogical 🙄 but I am a bit surprised that teddy bugs does🤔🤔
Good luck on some rapture as that is not biblical but diabolical from the church of Rome. My Bible says we will be caught up to meet Jesus in the air and not some funny rapture by using out of context verses. The word Rapture does not exist in the bible as Jesus is coming for the few for the righteous (ex-sinners saved by grace Romans 6:18) and not for sinners. That eliminates 99.9% of Christianity as they believe they can not be righteous free from sin as all sin is of the devil period 1st John 3:8 and God does not hear the prayers uttered by sinners John 9:31. Only few will hear Jesus Christ the Son of God's voice and not everybody like Christianity of the hour are lying to people bewitching them out of their salvation and pocketbook.
The two prophets are Moses and Elijah as the bible gives their identities away in Revelation 11:6. According to Malachi 4:5 before the coming of the Lord he will send Elijah.
Revelation 11:6] These have power to shut heaven, that --》it rain not《--- in the days of their prophecy: and have --》power over waters to turn them to blood, and to smite the earth with all plagues, as often as they will.《---
Malachi 4:[5] Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD;

1️⃣ My Bible says we will be caught up to meet Jesus in the air and not some funny rapture by using out of context verses. 👉👉👉👉👉👉 The word Rapture does not exist in the bible 👈👈👈👈👈👈 as Jesus is coming for the few for the righteous (ex-sinners saved by grace Romans 6:18) and not for sinners
💡💡😉 For the record, the word “rapture” comes from the Latin word rapturo, which is a translation of the Greek verb harpazo “caught up” that’s found in 1 Thessalonians 4:17. You can call it the “pre-trib rapture,” the “pre-trib rapturo,” or the “pre-trib caught up” – it’s all the same thing
2️⃣ Jesus is coming for the few for the righteous (ex-sinners saved by grace Romans 6:18) and not for sinners. That eliminates 99.9% of Christianity as they believe they can not be righteous free from sin as all sin is of the devil period
💡💡 😉 how would you know it's 99.9% ?? that's millions and millions of born again Christians one would have to possess the divine attribute of omniscience all knowing to know this
Secondly In order to achieve a sinless state of perfection, the Christian’s motivations would have to be pure and perfect at all times because God looks at the condition of the heart as well as our actions. Consider the following verses.
Matthew 5:28, “but I say to you that everyone who looks at a woman with lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart.“
Matthew 22:37, “And He said to him, “‘YOU SHALL LOVE THE LORD YOUR GOD WITH ALL YOUR HEART, AND WITH ALL YOUR SOUL, AND WITH ALL YOUR MIND.’”
Matthew 22:39, “‘The second is like it, ‘YOU SHALL LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF.’”
We see that Jesus taught that the intention of the heart is important to God. This is because God’s heart is perfect. He is holy which is why He says in 1 Peter 1:16, “Be holy, for I am holy.” God is the standard of holiness, and Jesus reveals the necessity of the perfect standard.
Can any Christian say that his heart is perfect and that he never falters? That he never looks upon a woman with impure thoughts? That he loves the Lord God with all of his heart, and that he loves his neighbor as himself, all with a perfect state of mind? The standard is absolute purity. None of us can claim that
The Bible is not saying that we don’t sin. Those verses in 1 John are talking about abiding in sin. That is not what Christians do. In fact, 1 John earlier in the same epistle states the following.
1 John 1:8, “If we say that we have no sin, we are deceiving ourselves and the truth is not in us.”
1 John 2:1, “My little children, I am writing these things to you so that you may not sin. And if anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous.”
Notice that John the apostle includes himself in the issue of sinning. Are the sinless perfectionist people more holy than John the apostle? I think not 😉😉
" The two prophets are Moses and Elijah as the bible gives their identities away in Revelation 11:6. According to Malachi 4:5 before the coming of the Lord he will send Elijah "
🤔🤔 who's on first what's on second ❓❓
two unknowns are seen as possibilities for the two witnesses because of the lack of specificity in Revelation 11. Scripture does not identify the two witnesses by name and no well-known person is associated with their coming. God is perfectly capable of taking two “ordinary” believers and enabling them to perform the same signs and wonders that Moses and Elijah did. There is nothing in Revelation 11 that requires us to assume a “famous” identity for the two witnesses.
There is an interesting passage in Zechariah 4 that gives us a prototype of the two witnesses of Revelation. Zechariah has a vision in which he sees a solid gold lampstand. On top is a bowl of oil, and an olive tree stands on each side (verses 3–4). The lampstand gives its light without human maintenance, being constantly supplied by the olive oil flowing from the trees into the bowl. God’s message to Zechariah was that God’s work (rebuilding the temple) would be accomplished “not by might nor by power, but by my Spirit” (verse 6).
Zechariah asks about the meaning of the olive trees and the branches supplying the oil, and the angel who speaks to him says, “These are the two anointed ones who stand by the Lord of the whole earth” (Zechariah 4:14, ESV). In other words, God’s power to sustain His work is flowing through two individuals set apart for the task. In Zechariah’s context, these two individuals are Joshua (the current high priest) and Zerubbabel (the current governor of Judah). We can also see a foreshadowing of Jesus Christ here, as the Messiah would combine the offices of priest and king. Then we come to Revelation 11:4. In the description of the two witnesses, John says, “They are ‘the two olive trees’ and the two lampstands, and ‘they stand before the Lord of the earth.’” John quotes from Zechariah 4. The two witnesses of Revelation, like Joshua and Zerubbabel, will have God’s power flowing through them to accomplish God’s work
So who are the two witnesses of Revelation? 👉👉👉👉👉👉The Bible does not say. The identity of the two witnesses is not an issue Christians should be dogmatic about
