1. Was John the Baptizer sent to baptize with water? Yes.
2. Why was John the Baptizer sent to baptize with water? To manifest Jesus to Israel (John 1:31).
3. Did John the Baptizer want Jesus to baptize him with water? Yes.
4. Did Jesus refuse to baptize John the Baptizer with water? Yes.
5. Did Christ send Paul to baptize with water? No. (1 Cor. 1:17).
6. When the Twelve were ordained by Jesus as recorded in Mark 3:13-19, did He ordain them to baptize with water? No. They were ordained that He might send them forth to preach, and to have power to heal sicknesses, and to cast out devils.
7. When the Twelve were sent out by Jesus as recorded in Matthew 10:1-15, did He send them out to baptize with water? No. He sent them to preach...heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead and cast out devils.
8. When the Seventy were sent out by Jesus as recorded in Luke 10:1-20 did He send them out to baptize with water? No.
9. When Jesus sends out the Two Witnesses (prophets) during the Great Tribulation will they be sent out to baptize with water? No. They are to prophesy and work miracles. (Rev. 11:3-6). 10. When the 144,000 Jews are saved during the Great Tribulation is there any mention of them being water-baptized? No.
11. In all of Paul's epistles does he give instructions concerning who is to be water-baptized or how they are to be water-baptized or who is qualified to be the baptizer? No.
12. In all of Paul's epistles does he have anything to say about water-baptism? Yes. One, that Christ did not send him to water-baptize, and two, he writes of the heretical baptisms for the dead.
13. In the epistle to the Jewish Christians (Hebrews) was anything mentioned about water baptism? Yes. In chapter 9, verse 10 the writer said that divers washings (baptismos) were imposed until the time of the (Messianic) reformation.
14. In the epistles of Peter, James, John, and Jude is anything mentioned concerning an ordinance of water baptism? No.
15. According to Scripture was the thief on the cross water-baptized after he was saved? No.
16. According to Scripture was Zaccheaus water-baptized after he was saved? No.
17. According to Scripture was the woman at the well water-baptized after she was saved? No.
18. Did Jesus water-baptize or tell anyone else to water-baptize any of the people whom He saved, as recorded in the Gospels? No.
19. How many times is it recorded in the New Testament that John the Baptizer came baptizing with water, but Jesus would baptize with the Holy Ghost? Six. (Mat. 3:11; Mk. 1:8; Lk. 3:16; Jn. 1:26, 31, 33; Acts 1:5; 11:16).
20. In all of Scripture, how many times is it recorded that someone was baptized with water in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Ghost? None.
21. Did Jesus Himself really say, "John truly baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost"? Yes (Acts 1:5).
22. Is there now two baptisms, water and Spirit? No. "There is...one baptism" (Eph. 4:5).
Epilogue
What does all this mean? It means that many Christians should forsake the false teaching that water baptism is the means of joining a local church or becoming a member of the universal Church. It means that many Christians should forsake the false doctrine that water baptism is necessary for salvation.
Many Christians should forsake the idea that water baptism replaced circumcision and that baptizing infants is part of a covenant with God for their salvation. Many Christians should change their identity from Baptist or Anabaptist to simply "Christian." Many Christians should forsake their demonic party spirit that the enemy has used to cause division among true brethren in Christ. (Of course, varied doctrines concerning water baptism is only one issue that causes division in the Church.) It means that many who profess to be Christians who teach that one is saved by being water baptized need to repent of their sins and turn to the Way, Jesus Christ (Jn. 14:6).
What will happen to many of those who accept the truth that water baptism was a shadow or type of a better, spiritual baptism into Christ? Some will be rejected by the established leaders and "religious experts" of the day just as Christians were rejected by the chief priests and rulers of the synagogue in the first century. Some will lose family and friends who are trusting in their water baptism for salvation (instead of trusting in Jesus Christ).
Variances in beliefs concerning water baptism may be greater than any other doctrine in the Bible. Like the Judaizers who said you need Christ and circumcision, many Christians (and those who profess to be Christians but never have been born again) today are saying, in essence, that the work Jesus did on the Cross is not enough. The enemy tries to diminish the glorious gift of eternal life and the Atonement of Christ by shedding His precious blood and dying for us.

Lots a verses yanked outa context without any regard to original narratives followed by a divisive opinionated rant about the way things oughta be in a Halo Harry world. (Yes he also believes in real halos)
But Halo Harry and Dom remain handedly refuted by the Great Commission given by Jesus in Matthew 28:16-20.
But for some reason Halo Harry and Dom don’t wanna talk too much about Matthew 28.
Obviously water baptist isn’t necessary for salvation.
It’s only one of two ordinances established by the Lord Jesus. One is water baptism of which we speak, the other is the Lord’s supper.

Dom-64, you probably realize by now that tinyfaithdavid that is very weak in his faith toward righteousness by FAITH (turning away from sin by the POWER of YHWH) as he continues to deny that POWER from heaven this side of heaven now to keep from sinning , then makes it clear here to accuse (LIES about) you of not posting anything on Matt 28 as to continue on with his license to sin which he believes to be 'continual sinning perfectionism (doctrine) because the more he sins the more righteous he is', that he teaches!
So you have a problem discussing anything with him because he is 'privileged' by his 'ordained license' from heaven to keep on sinning and therefore either twist (which is really a LIE also) what you say or flat out LIE about you or anyone else on this forum!
Also your correct about his 'beastly' look that you noticed on his actual profile set of pictures and when I brought this to his attention when he actually had it SHOWN on his main profile forum face in another thread posting, he then removed it claiming' he was handsome' in the picture, scaring the women to death, if they were careless enough to even visit his profile to begin with of this very hateful person!
Like I posted to him when he had that CRUDE picture posted for ALL to see, quoted below!

YUP Dom_64, the 'beast caveman' picture of him, I would assume to be him because he does not say anything on his profile description if its him or not???
So for the record of TWO WITNESSES against him here, its true what you saw Dom_64 and I have also!!! Anybody else think he is 'handsome' in the picture on his profile like he claims above in my quote of him he is in that particular picture????

So, he actually teaches that one can keep on sinning and still be counted righteous by God. Well that explains a lot.
Teddy, don't stumble just because Harry mentions halos in his article. I'm sorry to say you have many false teachings yourself. Consider there may be truth to it before throwing out the baby with the bath water.
Harry bethel has an article on wild beasts and what they are. I'm considering posting it.

Dom_64, tinyfaithdavid ( I call him that because he has NO FAITH that YHWH can keep us from sinning this side of heaven by his own words!) , so he accuses me of teaching 'sinless perfectionism' when its the BIBLE that says we can be PERFECT by the POWER of YHWH in us - THIS SIDE OF HEAVEN! And there are many verses saying just that OBVIOUS truth! For instance Jude 24,25 it clearly says by the POWER (verse25!) of YHWH he can keep us form sinning but tinyfaithdavid claims I take those verses out of CONTEXT???
So I give him some of his own medicine of accusations, making fun of his thinking and tell him he is teaching - 'continual sinning perfectionism because the more he sins the more righteous he is' you see? Its that age old CULT teachings in sooooo many 'churches' today that supposedly everyone will keep on sinning and when Father YHWH comes back to earth, then He will turn SINNING 'christians' into ROBOTS that cannot sin anymore or chose to do so!!! RSVP, thanks for setting the record straight about my opposition to sin. I’ve never said it’s ok to keep on sinning and the TeddyBug knows it because I’ve written often about obedience. Teddy can’t quote me having said its ok to keep on sinning, so he has to lie.
Notice how quickly the Dom believed the TeddyBug lie without so much as a speck of fact checking‼️‼️
Note also my observation concerning the Dom and her false teacher Halo Harry who “do not want to speak much about Mathew 28”.
The TeddyBug translated that into “...not speaking at all...” (the usual TeddyBug confusion which he then follows up with false accusations) and the Dom, herself, can’t seem to understand the obvious meaning of “not talking much”—-not her first inexcusable misunderstanding on the forum as well
It is true, Halo Harry “DOESN'T want to talk much” about the great commission of Jesus in Matthew 28 other then to obfuscate the orthodox and historic rendering especially concerning the Lord’s ordinance of water baptism.
The debate about water baptism should center on relevant verses. So why does Harry and Dom wanna write lengthy irrelevant pieces that consist largely of out of context verses and false insertions of their own into various texts rather than stay with Mathew 28 and relevant verses that actually address the topic of water baptism⁉️
It’s very sad when false teachers must resort to lying about those exposing their error.
